间学物理和化学。生物学发展到现在，做生物的对本行业的知识更新速度有切身体会，
keep learning.否则极快跟不上，做生物的，除了bench work，还要阅读大量文献。学
一些infomatics，对现在的生物而言，也是必须的。我每天都会用到你们bioinfo的工
具和软件。实际上，做bench work的，并不是你说的懒于学习，做生物的，若与懒字有
半点关系，基本没戏了。做生物的，大都有phd，我不认为这些人的智商低于你们做
informatics的。
为数学/物理/计算机背景出身的学生所设立的生物课，大
家都踊跃参加， 这是因为你们会学到非常interesting的东西；
反之，为生物背景的学生设的简单数据分析+编程课，参加的人一次比

据我所知（我专门找我们学校教nursing informatics的老师聊过），nursing
informatics是master degree。如果你有了美国的本刊或其他学位， 读master应该不
需要托福，一般需要GRE。我考虑的是一个医院只需要几个nursing informatics
specialists, 这和RN的需求量没法比。
你读nursing都能毕业了，怎么还担心口语呢？在医院实习，不是得跟不同的病人及护
士打交道吗?如果你能应付过来,工作也应该不成问题的。 |

去读医学院不是太现实。应该说你是在考虑与医院有关，又快的途径工作。
1 PA 申请无所谓学校好坏，容易的就是最好的。
2 NR ，associate program 是最容易和快的方式，以后网上再补BS也可行的。 有
了几年NR工作经验，会有很多选材，读NP， 麻醉护士，也可以读Nursing Informatics
(Master degree)。就我而言，因为年龄大了，放弃了读麻醉想法，就选了做透析护
士，非常好的工作，这并非我的第一选择；我先申请 Nurse documentation
specialist

building or the name of a building in one file is 36 bytes but has no format
or informat. In the second file, building has format/informat $17. When
merging the two files, the length of values for building is truncated to 17
bytes. So I guess it's because of the format/informat $17..

我的program name还不在STEM上。它是“Health Informatics”，是由"Health
Technology", "Biostatistics" 和 "Computer Science"的课程组成的。 这三个都在
list上, 但"Health Informatics"不是. 我已经给SEVIS发信问了，建议他们加上。
另外，那个NPO是NCI（National Cancer Inst）下属的医院，应该是e-verified吧，请

现在公司支持不住了，估计快要下岗了。
如果没有合适的下家，该接contract的活吗？之前有个contract公司说能transfer H1B
的。这个contract公司不是烙印的，但是不知道是否有风险，请给些建议
