The answer may be similar to why Germans, Swiss and Danes studied physics
and math, relative to Americans, prior to WWII.

summary statement,但连个impact/priority score都没有。咔咔，气死俺了。请有经
验的faculty帮我看看，下面reviwer critique给的1，1，1，3之类的是score吗？啥意
思啊？

最好的是国家科技进步二等奖，国家先进科普工作者等。现在想出来镀镀金。自己有很
多项目。可以带项目过来作。我是理工科的，但是觉得他还是很有真才实学的。但是他
的学校在他的领域很次，所以出国的机会不多。
他申请的主要方向为：区域科学、经济地理、城市经济、规划等都可以；
他老婆也想申请：新闻、传播等方向。
