mostly use bond money.
later US started the interstate system and mostly use federal and state tax
money, they are not allowed to be tollways, except a couple of exception.
newer freeways that don't use much federal tax money can still be tollway,
but they can't name them as interstate. |

way（高速94／294／80），芝加哥skyway（高速90），还有80号高速indiana和ohio段
，几百miles全是收费的，这些路56年interstate计划才提出来的时候就建成了，然后
坚持不懈的收了这么多年钱，呵呵。反倒是那些提出Interstate计划以后才修的路才大
多是免费的。 |

后来interstate定的高标准，比如车道宽度不够紧急停车道宽度不够转弯半径太小一类
的，后来就慢慢升级把这些提上去，当然路都修完了再改也不容易，据说chicago
skyway这么多年了一直没钱升级interstate管理部门打算把它给踢出去 |

主要收费路I95 NJ段 I90 MA段都是有interstate system
前就修了不是fed的钱。他们收费都用NJ turnpike, Mass turnpike
的名字。

美国高速公路只算interstate的话七万多公里。47,182 miles (75,932 km)
和中国高速公路里程相比的是57,000 miles (92,000 kilometers), including non-
interstate freeways.
所谓高速公路，除了限速较高以外，标准就是controlled access，没有平交路口。进
出必须经过ramp。
很多US routes是有十字路口，和其他道路直接平交的。只有封闭的部分才算到九万二
里头 |

没人的乡下，一般interstate就是没有条子普通车辆都很难稳定的开100mph。你看限速
90mph的interstate基本看不到开100mph的就是这个道理。你限速40mph无数人开60.

Interstate (40?). The local highway is not busy, with only one gas station,
so fill up. Do not speed, and take reasonable breaks.
The Interstate has a lot of rest stops. The road back to LV may be busy in
the evening.
If you have a lot of free time, first go north, then east via smaller
highways. Great scenery. I have taken both routes. |

我自I10下来刚转到US90/US183 hwy上不久后，一路两边都是荒野，没有住宅，一辆警
车迎面开过，掉头跟了我一段路，直到附近有住宅商铺可以停车后，在路边停下，说我
60的路开了70，开了citation让我上庭。从警察跟着我之前到拉灯让我停下，我一直跟
着一辆pick up开着。

该法案规定约定仲裁即排除诉讼，且该规定优于州法。
当然，如果是两个州内resident用州内的车在本州相撞，则可能不涉及interstate

而且刚好当时我是从另一条高速并到这条interstate上来的,一上来就碰到右边的ramp.
其实我应该是比较正常的减速,也就是是从60迈减到45-50迈的样子,因为我估计这个速
度就可以避开大卡车, 可是后面的车离我太近了又完全没减速.不知道说明白了没有. |

当时是一个两条INTERSTATE切换的EXIT，下一个大坡，所以速度略快了一些。COP说北卡
法律规定必须出庭，不能只交罚款了事。（北卡的法律怎么这么变态）。我说我要从NY
开过来太远了，COP说可以找LOCAL的律师代为出庭。
请问我这种情况是否要请律师？
如果我自己开车去出庭的话，应该怎么处理？网上GOOGLE了一下，说NC有一种叫什么Pr
ayer for Judgment Continued (PJC)，就是三年内第一次犯交规可以免除责任，因为我

查历史，我是两手抓，既从carfax和autocheck上查，同时还去店里查，比方黑店
firestone或者Midas.
Idle hours, 在仪表面板右下方有个长细杆儿按钮，按两下就可以在麦数位置显示怠速
总时间。
县城一般在城郊，高速边上有很多辅路，什么interstate service road or
interstate business road 等等，有些年久失修，路况坑坑洼洼，限速往往在50、
55mph, 大警开车常年跑这种路巡逻很费底大杠部件，比方前后减震，control arm 以
及球头(ball joints)等易损部件，所以毁车毁悬挂。 |
