ok, a few things:
1. low rpm is generally bad for your knee, thus the minimum of 60rpm.
however, many of us consider 60rpm already too low. but you should know the
rpm standard is different for sitting and standing. naturally people will go
10 rpm slower when they stand up while maintaining the same levels of
exertion. so I advise a minimum rpm of 70 for standing and 85 for sitting.
lower rpm for standing is ok because you have less bend in the knee, which
makes it ok for higher knee pressure.

Of course I have. Just developed a knee problem due to too much explosive
jumping in volleyball games. I feel the pain on the right knee when
standing up in the climb when riding. but seated with high gear ratio, I am
relatively fine. My physiotherapist said that’s hua nang yan, or ji rou mo
sun that due to over excersize. Any one here has the same mishap as I do?

感觉你很strong。腿有伤还能这样骑法,还是注意点吧。我刚开识就是High gear, low
cadence导致knee痛,后来经版上大拿们批评教育,才开始提高踏频knee也不痛了。不
过前个星期骑high了搞远了点,knee又开始抗议了,看来cadence还是太低了。

i feel that the primary challenge is on core stabilizer muscles, and hip
joint flexibility
as long as you are not wrenching you knee, it should NOT be too harsh on
knee:
keep your knee cap pointing the same direction as your toe

Your form looks good to me. From this angle I can't tell if you are using
high bar or low bar, but I feel you could do well with low bar.
A few suggestions:
1) Tightness - you could use more. Pull your elbows towards your lats hard
and keep them that way during the whole lift. This would keep your upper
back tight. Don't flare your elbows backwards. It would make you lean
forward when weight gets heavy.
2) Big air - I don't see you sucking in big air before you squat. You'd want

You need to pay attention to the saddle positions.
If your knee cap is ahead of the paddle center, it is bad for your knee.
Long story short, you need to fit your bike correctly:

When paddling, make sure your feet is flat, like you are trying to get rid
of a piece of gum at the bottom of your shoes.

You had a good start position - back was flat and shoulder blades were right
over the bar. However once you grabbed the bar and initiated the lift, your
hips rose first which caused your upper body to get in front of the bar. So
you are lifting mostly with your back. Be patient off the floor and let
your legs initiate the lift.
Deadlift is a push during the first half of the movement, and a pull once

这个play有什么问题么?恰恰说明了忌惮包装工的进攻,不想多留时间罢了;或者老头
子压根儿就没考虑那么多,就是继续严谨的做time management就是了;说老头子喜欢
羞辱对手,不尊重对手那才是无天理,……
至于赛季初的那个take knee, 海盗才是非常不要脸,你有偷袭take knee的机会完全是
对方主动采取了take knee,或者说对方主动放弃了进攻权,如果对方不这么做,完全
可以继续用跑攻,当然你说那样可以有机会takeover the ball from fumble,我无话可
说。大部分球队的主力Rb都是吃屎长大的,最后2分钟,没有任何压力的情况下连ball
security都做不好……

agree, impact is the soul of golf swing. you can try rehearse a bit of
impact, using very small swings --- 1 inch move your hands, several foot
move of the club head. back and forth at impact position to feel the lag
and release and forarm roll....
medson: i had similiar problem with left knee collapse to right during
backswing, one guy at golf show told me to "lock" (kind of) left knee
position, left knee more going to the driection your face point, rather than
going too much to right.

keep weight in the middle of your feet, your weight is on your heels it
seems;
for finish position, get your right knee closer to your left knee;
for upswing, don't turn and shift your hips too much, try to turn your
shoulders as much as you can while keep your hips and knees and head stay
where they are.

health is THE most important..
I bet you look very healthy and fit because of the exercise you do everyday.
Don't feel guilty when you have some ice cream or cookies, sweets make you
happy,
but MODERATION plays a role--eating them only once or twice a month...
I am running a lot and working out everyday too (gym rat), so my suggestion
is
1) use knee strap to protect knee cap if you still want to run. for me, it
really works, I have no knee

According to the Washington Post, after an MRI Wednesday Yi Jianlian will
miss 2-4 weeks with a sprained right MCL.
Already this season, Yi Jianlian has missed nine games already this season
due to a right knee injury. And after playing in December, Yi's right knee
is
having issues again. Against the Lakers Tuesday is when Yi hurt the knee.
In 14 games this season, Yi 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Stave's fault was instead of placing the ball on the ground after he took a
knee, he should have handed the ball to the referee.
I just learned that by rules, your knee doesn't have to touch the ground,
just the kneeing act is enough. And the referee immediately blew the play
dead, so the referees weren't confused at all.

my taichi teacher often warn us about being careful with the knees, that is
not to put pressure on the knee when bending down the legs, instead the
pressure should go all the way down to your feet to the ground.
I suspect that if you hurt your knee in hiking, mostly likely you don't obey

Followed the 3:20 pacer all the way. The local university and school kids
provided perfect pacing. Two groups of 4 pacers each paced 13 miles, even
pace all 26 miles. Except 19-21 miles that I have to deal with the knee pain
, it was a pleasant and somewhat boring run.
LD and kids gives me two big doses of 鸡血 last few miles by putting up the
big sign.
Just passed a 50 year lady before the finish line who had 29 marathons and
was an inspiration story in the local newspaper.

Finally fully recovered from the 10/03 San Jose RnR half marathon after a
perfect almost all out 10K run lunch time today without any knee problems.
Didn't bring 305, didn't know the pace, but guess it is around 8:05 -
8:20.
I was puzzled by my knee problems in last two weeks. Didn't know when the
problem would be gone away. Was very concerned about my CIM training
schedule, which is impacted by the knee problems.
Happy to get back to the training course.
