主要区别在切片
这个刀很锋利,切土豆时直接上下直接剁就可以,而且只要速度快,
切下来的片基本上会留在原位,而不是被刀带起来到别的地方
如果差点儿的刀,需要同时进刀来切的话,就没法用切丝的方法快速切片
一刀一刀进刀切片的话,速度就受影响
切丝的话用什么刀都差不太多,只要不太差.
菜刀相对这种西式chef knife其实有优势,自重大,宽,更好控制
而且自重大了惯性大,切的时候反而省力
不过我是用习惯了这种chef knife,所以懒得再往回折腾了:) |

买把主厨刀(chef knife); 如果习惯中式的，就买把Nakiri, 象门板；如果买专门的，
就是slicing knife。
关于牌子，不差钱就买Shun的，觉得太贵可以等deal, 或者买便宜一点的牌子。
这些刀不能用来剁骨头，剁肉馅 -- 刀口太锋利，比较娇气。 |

圆弧形，目的是来回的滚刀。 用惯菜刀的人会更习惯用santoko
一些，可以说是东方式厨刀。
另外一般来说santoko更快更薄一些，适合片薄片，切肉切菜都行。

anything master cutlery. Another reviewer was saying x30cr13 is high quality
steel... that's a outright lie. It's a steel most chef knife makers won't
touch and utility and tactical knife makers use for the handle frames of
folders. It's equivalent to 420, 420J2, or 3Cr13Mov. Gerber, Kershaw,
Spyderco both claim that 8Cr13Mov or 8Cr14Mov are minimum for the price and
title of premium.

发帖数: 9607 | 35 很容易。我选用了一把很趁手的putty knife，用橡皮锤子把它敲进台面和柜橱的粘接
处把胶水切断。最好是把四周所有胶水的地方都切断了再抬，否则有的地方粘得很紧，
掀台面会把橱柜的面板弄折了。
先拆backsplash就是竖板，先用刀子把板子周围跟墙和台面连接处的caulk割断，再用
putny knife和pry bar把它从墙上拉下来。
拆水池可以不用拆龙头，把冷热水管阀门关掉，断开水管，下水道连接，如果不换水池
可以把水池跟底下一段下水管一起拆下来，因为下水管跟水池底面的螺丝连接不好拆，
而下水管跟P trap连接的地方相对来说好拆的多（我的直接手拧就下来了）。
水池底下的边缘是用一种clip卡在板子上的，松掉螺丝，取下四周的clip，水池就可以
跟水龙头一起拿下来了。 |

发帖数: 9607 | 37 找平是最基本的。其实小的不平装granite的人也可以弄平的。
拆只需要一把putty knife和一把螺丝刀。用putty knife把counter top跟cabinet接缝
地方撑开，取下counter top。用螺丝刀把cabinet固定在stud上面的螺丝卸下，把连接
相邻cabinet的螺丝卸下，就可以把cabinet拿出来了。
装的时候先用水平仪找出地面最高点，以此点为底，在墙上用粉笔线弹出距地面34.5英
寸的水平线，所有cabinet的上沿装上之后要跟这个水平线对齐，不够高或者不平的，
下面用楔形木条垫起，然后上螺丝进入stud，上螺丝连接相邻的柜子。
如果有拐角，先装拐角的柜子。
对，装的过程中还需要经常用水平仪检查。

现买油漆、工具等等。
paint &epoxy remover
minwax prestain wood conditioner
Minwax Gel-stain (red elm)
minwax gloss wood finish
putty knife (买了三种，大的小的，以及5-in-1的）
N95 口罩
paint brush
painter's tape
sand paper
sand blocks
橡胶手套
大致花费100.
然后开工。
1。卸锁。花了一个多小时才搞明白怎么卸锁。
2。去掉旧漆。刚开始直接打磨，发现很费劲，尤其是凸起的花框部分，尤其费劲。就用上了paint remover。严格按照上面说明，一小块一小块的弄，涂上后15分钟左右，用putty knife，大块地方很容易就刮掉了。沟槽部分还是比较难弄。这个过程花了半天。基本上一天就过去了。
3。打磨。这个过程相对来说简单一些了。先用粗砂纸，再用细砂纸。最后用抹布去灰，然后吸尘器吸一遍，最后用干净布再抹了一遍。有朋友告诉我直接用水龙头接水冲洗，... 阅读全帖 |

patio door太重，请工厂装的（２５０刀），讲好带走旧patio door时，也带走旧窗 :)
工具：电钻，grinder／cutter。
１，量尺寸，找最小宽，高。有的工厂叫减３／８，有的叫减１／４。俺先定了一个，
宽减１／４，高减１／８，试下来，根本不必减。retrofit窗的四角，各凸出个小尖，
用utility knife削去，就多出了至少１／８。其余１６个窗没减，只３－４个用
utility knife削了下。
２，每个窗４个screw， 要３寸的。
３， block的比带fin的好装，省去磨平stucco了。
４，因为尺寸很fit，shingle用的很少。
５， liquid foam，Lowe说用４。９５／罐的，不会过后涨，胡扯，与２。９５的一样
，过后都涨。
６，silicone，Lowe说用１００％silicone的，４。９９／只，工厂用的最便宜的，俺
心虚，用的３。５９的（３。９９，１２只３。５９） |

，150；空气压缩机，40；finish nailer，20；瓷砖锯，70；电钻四件装，30；电钻两
件装，20；水平尺，20；circular saw，20；全功能振动器，30；泥刀工具陆陆续续买
了好多，trowel，搅拌器，grout float，putty knife，taping knife，加起来应该有
100；手锯，免费；刷子滚筒加起来也超过100了；兔子，20；撬棍两把，20；shop-vac
三个，50；凿子，10；螺丝刀钻头扳手钳子锤子，这些没法算，有的是好多年前就买的
，最近又添了不少。尤其钻头成了易耗品。
耗材包括好多桶油漆，应该有20桶以上吧，好多袋thin-set，应该有10袋以上，十几管
胶水和caulk。
算了半天，好像加起来还没有浴室门的三块玻璃贵。 |
