I guess lance will find many sports other than biking that are difficult to
him, not only running. LOL. I can easily beat Lance on butterfly sprint. Top
cyclist can not do good at other sports means nothing to his athleticism. |

连续病了几个星期，虽然重量有进步，可是一直没怎么跑步，还skip了两次5*5，心肺
功能严重倒退。今天蹲和拉一憋气就缺氧，起来以后眼冒金星 >_<。。。135磅的硬拉
是一个一个完成的，中间严重需要喘气。。。。。无语了。。。。明天又要雨夹雪，没
得跑。。。。。这就去下载insanity >_<.....
我锻炼得时候只能听进去各种报道。上周听了planet money关于armstrong and the
business of doping。感慨一下，我不是lance的铁杆粉丝，可是一直支持他斗争到底
。听到这个报道，还是震惊了一把。国际自行车协会也决定剥夺他的所有环法金牌，不
是没有根据的啊。。。。

marathon.
Also, my body type is very different. I have a thicker frame and much thicker legs than these guys. I need
more muscle strength to carry my weight. I would look up to athletes with higher BMI such as Lance
Armstrong and Dean Karnazes. In fact, Lance Armstrong's height and weight are very close to mine. |

last fall, but have stopped doing it
altogether this year, mainly because I needed to focus on my goals in
running and that I didn't have the time
for bikes with such high mileage running.
Even Lance Armstrong said that cycling didn't help with his marathon performance. (For those who didn't
know, Lance has been a triathlete for most of his life.) I wonder how fast Contador could run a marathon. |

顺便再说几个小地方：
1、我们发现在高速上隔一长段没有加油站的时候，如果是快进城市了最先出现的那个加油站基本上是最贵的，接下来的出口会便宜一些，最多有便宜4毛。
2、我们每天的行程基本上都和GPS给出的时间差不多，很顺利，只有快到LV和LV的时候会堵车，I-40，AR、TX和OK限速是70，NM和AZ是75，我们一般都开到限速或者再多个5-10mi，还能省出加油的时间。
3、我们被警察叔叔拦过两回，一次是12月25日，一次是1月1日，看来美国警察假日也不休啊！

有说枪杆柔性，矛硬杆；

总是，众说纷纭，没有找到权威说法
不过，英文里面，pike是步兵武器，lance是骑兵武器这个好像是公论，spear不好说，
含义太广；javelin是投掷武器，但是也可当短兵用……

标 题: 挖个坑：大家如果不做science，最想干哪一行？

貌似以前有杂志调查过scientist们，结果是:musician,free-lance writer,food
critic,florist,surfer, etc.都是些收入不高但无拘无束的活儿，和scientist颇有一
些相似之处。朝9晚5的职业好像没几个scientist喜欢做，比如医生律师商界白领。
如果没有金钱上的担忧，我最想干的行业如下，排名不分先后：
间谍
food critic
媒婆
free-lance writer
开冰激凌店，发明新口味 |
