口，而且finish了，在basement感觉空气很堵塞。inspector说建议问一下
oil 公司这种用室内空气的burner是不是不安全，建议改成用室外空气
的那种burner，或者开个通气孔等，没有很理解，inspector建议找个HVAC Technician
to do an investigation of the Exhaust Vents and possible oil leakage.
有大虾做过这种检查吗？大约怎么收费呢？
还有觉得basement通气是个问题，不知道怎么能解决。能要求卖方做些什么呢？

把盘子水吸掉一楼就不漏了。
搞不懂怎么漏得水。可能是
1. basement地基水泵抽水回灌到2楼。washer那个盘子中间是有根排水管的，
水很可能是从那里涌出来的。但是搞不懂一楼ceiling怎么会漏水呢，
是不是管子还是有leakage。还有地基水泵抽水能回灌到2楼太疯狂了。
2. 雨水从屋顶某根管子飘进来漏到washer盘子的排水管里。这个可能性比较小，
因为以前零星下雨时候从没看到过漏水。
高人指点指点应该怎么找出原因。thx |

body and costs 3-4 hundred dollars.
In your case, there should be simple solutions. What I would do is to find
out where the leakage is, and then find a solution to seal that up. That

inspector said it's settlement cracks. One of the crack start from the
corner of basement window corner, it's width is about 1-2mm. The other crack
is thinner but longer. There is another hairline crack in the basement slab
, I have no worry about that. Most probably the cracks in the slab are
because the settlement. The house is 12-yr old.

bathtub拿掉，做成一个较大点的showerroom， 中国人用bathtub的次数也较少， 换成
showerroom 空间比较大，不会憋屈。
contractor 建议我们不要这样做，因为换成showerroom，理论上就不是full bath 了
，变成3/4 bathroom了； 我另外一个顾虑是变成showerroom后，可能造成leakage
problem， 因为水流面积变大。

recommend to replace it. We plan to do the replacement. But is it a good
time to do it now? Or waiting for next spring/summber (dry season)?
