Awesome run.
I did a 20 mile, then worked from noon to 10:00pm at ws100 finishline,
just came back home.

reminds me of the funny claim that running is an expensive sports because of
gear. the only thing valuable is the time we put into trainning.

Here is an iteration of the race weekend. It might read a bit boring to most
people. I found writing them down quite intriguing. It's like going over
the weekend again.
8/18 Thursday
Took an 8 hour flight from NYC to Denver with 3 hour connection at Cleveland
. Fortunately, the waiting area and restaurant in Cleveland airport are
quite nice. I was able to relax a bit from the the intensive week at work
and had a nice burrito dinner. I even thought about checking out the rock

It is just a term, I do not care they are new or old, as far as it works.
Actualy, I use the old style most of time, as you said, easy to master, good
for beginner
but if you are really into mogul, eventually, you may want to learn this "
new" style.
fly learnt and mastered the old style last year, which was his first season,
and ever since this season, he started to learn this new style

2014 it is.
freestyle skiing was learnt from snowboarding (mogul excepted); so were the
reinvention of shaped skis. Skiing has better mobility esp. on flatter and
bumpier terrain. Otherwise they are the best twins.

No swimming goggles are good for ever. The simple way to prevent condensation
is to spit, yes "SPIT" as much as you can in the goggle, then rub the saliva
all over the inner surfaces of the goggle. After that, you have to dip the
whole goggle in the pool, rinse it ONCE. It will work perfectly for couple of
hours. You have to do it at the beginning of each swim. I learnt this from my
Scuba teacher, it never failed. Enjoy.

3465y/h is very good for someone who just learnt to swim for 3-4 years. You
felt cold around 40 minutes.Was it possible they injected cold water into
pool for maintenance purpose?
5000 yard/hour is between Chinese Men's Level I and II, closer to Level I.
It takes serious training to get there.

Everything start from the core of course. Probably should say feel the
force connecting from toe to fingertip. It's like those anchor your hand in
the water kind of thing, mostly happened in your head.
Although I recently learnt in kayak racing, top athletes actually do anchor
their paddles in the water and not move an inch back. Still trying to
figure out how that's possible.

from the baseline, super good at the net. We have one here who has badly
beaten me (a baseliner with topspin shots) three times in leagues/
tournaments.
I feel it is a bad match-up for topspinners against such a player: our guy
often lost to other people who lost to me, just kept beating me badly every

I really think we should stop here. I have learnt that your style is just
like this on your recent posts.
Never try to persuade anybody including you, just defend my right to claim
my opinion. At least we both want to become 高手, that's all. It's not about
whether we must have to know how to deal with moonball, it's about wheather
we like it, right? Use your logic to make a strong statement next time. For
example, "板上如收音机,CC,灰色等大侠" might easily handle moonballs, but

The other guy didn't have AA? His call was not good. He's exactly sandwiched
between two raisers.
What I learnt was: good loose and aggressive players only play small pots
loosely. They're serious with big bets.

I am still new. Depends on the player and my stack size I make decision on
the raise.
I did lost on saturday night for another trip.
The table has two experienced random player, I havn't learnt the way how to
play against those type of players.
Say, they raise out of position with 26o 7To etc, and made me very hard to
put them on a hand after the flop. I lost 4 big premium hands JJ, AKs, AA,
AKs to trash and lost over 800 bucks. The AA was a mistake not raising
enough, the guy called me with Q3o

PLO25. that's 10bb/100 + 3.5bb/100 RB
i thought i could easily handle 4 tables, i was wrong. now iam playing 3
table rush PLO25 6max and it's the right pace for me. once i am in the rush
mode I can't think.
actually you have all the time you need to make each decision at each street
. the most important lesson i learnt in rush poker is:

Makes play by state residents on unlicensed sites a criminal offense.

yeah, no pot control with TPTK or similar made non-nut hands
with a coordinated board is one of biggest leak for many, I learnt it hard
way, especially OOP.

We just booked the flights and 6-night stay in a hotel in Cancun (all-
inclusive) a week ago. Our trip will be in mid December, 4 adults and 1 kid
(2-year old).
My parents need to apply Mexican visa. Here's how we did it:
1. "booked" a package, print out the itinerary before the paying step (
learnt this trick online somewhere)
2. apply Mexican visa - easy (and cheaper than Canadian visa), got it the
same day
3. booked the real flights and hotel after

Exactly in SF where I was driving a car with a manual transmission,
particularly when I had to stop in front of a trafic light or a stop site
atop a steep slope.
But I learnt how to manage not sliding backwards when restarting to move,
which really impressed my friends:)

He he, we had a dance class (Rumba and Salsa) this semester and after we
learnt some Rumba steps, the coach just told us to dance the same steps to

I am just saying I have learnt in US, having a few English mistakes here and
there is not a big deal, because there are many people who speak poor
English (spelling, grammar, accent) from other countries still surviving and
living happily here. People even laughed at George W Bush's mistakes when
he gave the speech, but so what? He still became the president and stayed
there for eight years.

空等一众徒弟死心塌地跟随他的原因。文学最动人之处不在于政治,在于这样的个人性
及其唤起的人性的共鸣。
从而又想起我读本科时写过一篇关于敦煌创建者的小小说。当时看到史书的短短一段记
载,说乐尊和尚在长安修行多年,突然出走西北,徒步数日,干渴不支。于落日之时突
见三危山上佛光万丈,千佛现身,三危山下现出月牙一泉。乐尊感恩,就此长住,开凿
出第一座敦煌石窟。读毕心有戚戚:长安浮华,庙堂虽安,经书万卷却也语言有限。出
走西北正是合情合理的学者的选择。而人的宗教皈依往往有各种偶然因素的推动:如果
不是干渴欲尽,乐尊未必见到佛光,月牙泉对他不会有那么大的冲击,敦煌会不会出现
石窟也成为悬疑。所以写了个英语小小说,寄托一下追寻理想的共鸣。
