简单些，主要是讲在公司内部的一些生产成本control之类的。而financial
accounting，主要讲做财务报表和一些基本的finance理念。我咋觉得他俩没什么太大
的联系。CPA还没考，不过好像financial accounting更重要些。 |

intermediate 2 是讲 LIABILITY和EQUITY方面的。
所以这2个是可以同时上的。互相之间没什么直接关系。
当然要先上FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING （INTRODUTION).
MANAGERIAL的话和那3个都没关系。 |

批准，8月向Becker订购教材，同年8月到10月在休斯敦上了REG和FAR的辅导课，2008年
1月到2月在休斯敦上了BEC和AUD的辅导课。2008年8月因为原工作单位效益不好，只好
离职，专门在家复习CPA考试。2009年2月参加了REG和FAR，2009年7月参加了BEC，8月
参加了AUD的考试，前三门顺利通过，但是最后一门出现一些意外情况，没有通过，本
人于2009年10月重新参加考试，也通过了。本文是本人的一些经验总结。
AICPA考试主要在评鉴应试者的专业能力和适任性来执行会计专业，因此考试内容及范
围非常广泛，包括一般会计原则、管理及成本会计、政府会计、审计准则、商事法及联
邦所得税原则的了解和应用等。根据研究发现，现在的会计师除了需求专业技术的知识

accouting，和若干business courses. 其中financial accounting学的比较扎实，拿了
A+。现在依然记得。后来在银行工作几年，然后又生孩子，如今一晃都奔三了。但仍想圆梦会计证。
本想先补几门会计课程再考illinois州的cpa，但课程需要明年9月才开。于是想考虑直
接考maine州的CPA。等以后补了那几门课再转回illinois的可行不？
像我这样没基础的18个月能否通过？近期无工作安排。孩子已经入托，白天比较有时间
学习。我数学，经济比较好，应该从哪门开始学，教材里只有becker的通过率最高嘛？

说他过了考试，IL的，结果拿license时，说他审计没有上过课，现在补不行，得考前
就满足
要求。而且我看NJ CPA questions and answers这么说的：
The good news is that you don’t have to have a degree in accounting.
However, you must have 15 credits at the graduate level or 24/30 credits (
this depends on the school’s accreditation) at the undergraduate level. In
addition, you must have completed accounting courses in financial,
managerial, tax and auditing.
指的是license而不是sit for exam是么？

我在国内上的本科（工程类）；
然后到美国修了商科和工程的硕士双学位，商科硕士里面有两门MBA-level的Financial
Accounting and Managerial Accounting课程；
目前Accounting PhD在读，qualify什么的过了，接下去要教本科生的Accounting
Courses。准备考个CPA，虽然CPA不是找工作或者教学必须的，但是有个CPA总是有帮助
的。
现在有两个问题请教下版上各位：
1。在美修的两个硕士加上博士，目前已有126学分，到今年年底就有150学分（i.e.不
要本科学分也够了）请问我可不可以不提交中国本科成绩单？（本科毕业四年多了，成
绩单找不到了-。-！）
2。博士期间，上的都是Advance Accounting Theory之类的课程,没有上过本科
Auditing,Taxes的课程，不知道博士学分能不能算作Accounting hours。看网上

be in cost accounting, I can see the value of taking CMA.
Maintaining the CPE for 2 credetials can be time consuming. It looks good on
paper, but does it really bring the value worth the time and effort? For me

不知道哪位高人有maryland or virginia 这两个州的其中一个州的考CPA经验哦！帮我
解答下下面的问题，谢谢！
因为本人看了maryland的官网，好像至少本科是会计专业的人才能考，非专业者没有资
格，不知道我的理解对不对？觉得好严格；
而virginia的好像要SSN or control number from virginia MVA, 由于我是H4签证，
不可能有SSN，而且我现在住在maryland， 不知道怎样可以拿到control number from
virginia MVA？
希望能很快看到高人的指点~ 本人读的是商科，会计仅读了Principles’ accounting
and managerial accounting，所以申请了9月份的学校读会计的几门功课（不拿会计证
书），但还没决定不知道具体读哪些，打算下个星期找个评估公司看看，但据我所知，
找评估公司前，自己需要先决定考哪个州对吧，所以有点急，自己还不知道考哪个州，

The case study didn't goes very well and actually a lot different to my
original scripts. The biggest surprise is the client withdraw from the case.
.....
Anyway, as I promised, I still need to complete this case.
Below is the complete case study for this client. No matter what's your
opinion on this, I have to say I'm not satisfied at all. I will definitely
rank the whole work as one the worst project in my entire career.

1. Even you have a perfect skill sets combination of accounting &
database, you still can't make 6 figures in most states unless you get to
manager position.
2. How close you current position to this highly specialized area? If you
are too far away, forget about this. Normally, career grow in baby steps,
not by big turn or jumps. This back to my point in my upper post, 60% of
your success is decided by strategy and planning. No short cut.

fullerton的会计硕士，想借读书换个身份，找个会计工作。老公已经申请绿卡，估计2
年内会下来。
有些问题想找校友指点指点：
1、我的GMAT verbal 不好，要在第一学期读BUAD 501(Managerial Communications),
但是注册课程晚了，现在waitlist 上排第8，请问有可能在8月23日开课前排到我吗？
如果排不到，能在别的什么学校读这门课吗？（我住Arcadia， 91007)
2、在选择concentration方面，如果我希望往企业经营管理方向发展，以后找工作的话
好找吗？ 能有机会进4大吗？看网上大多都是往税务方面的，我对这个没多大兴趣，反
而更关注business方面的东西，因为将来想自己创业。

发帖数: 309 | 44 今天刚考完BEC，感觉一般，希望能低空过就好，毕竟没投入啥精力复习。四门考完了
三门，最后一门REG明年考。怕到时候给忘了，所以先来总结一下自己的经验教训。
我本身工作是审计出身，上过advanced accounting and auditing, economics,
corporate finance, managerial accounting, 考CPA之前已经是CIA和CMA了，可能基
础还算扎实。（除了tax, 真没接触过，上学时仅仅是为了凑报名考试的学分，尽量拣
简单的课上，所以心里还是很没底的).
关于时间－－－我是全职工作，一般用晚上和周末来看书。但事实上，我只有考前两周
才有效地利用时间（临时抱佛脚习惯了）。不过说实话，准备CPA还是不要把战线拉太
长，我记得有前辈说过，FAR考前一个月看，REG最多一个半月，AUD和BEC最多三周，就
差不多，不是抱佛脚的问题，而是时间太久，根本记不住。我深以为然。

精算的当然可以做到管理层，事实上任何人都可以做到管理层。正精算师有做管理的，
也有在作技术活儿的。
精算师大一点的可以做到ceo, cfo, etc,小一点的天天在下面做脏活累活。具体能做到

For companies that have a structured rotational program (which most big
insurance companies do), new-hires are supposed to do several rotations
before move on to more senior/managerial level. Also, salaries are strictly
linked with exam performaces. For someone coming in with 5 exams, he/she
