偶保险的事情，结果说是结婚日期早过30天，同时来美时间也超过30天要等明年open
enrollment才能一起加。
不知道这种情况有兄弟姐妹知道如何处理吗？公司医疗保险的条款中关于中途修改医疗
保险（比如加配偶）的条件是 a qualifying life event change, such as a change
in marital status or the arrival of a new child.

1.有孩子的都应该买life insurance，越早买越便宜，公司的group insurance是不够
的，一是数额比较小，二是万一失业了这个insurance就没有了，年纪大了万一失业了

of marital status (单身声明公证, i.e. single, eligible to marry another
person of another non-U.S. country)?
Besides Chinese passport and the G-1 form, what other coduments are required
? Does the applicant have to prepare/write the declaration himself/herself
for the Consulate to sign?
