去记住风的形状，记忆力再好都没用，因为瞎子一辈子也没看见过风的形状。。 。
对于中小学数学，时空想象力主要是 mathematical structure (空间) 和
mathematical logics (时间)
(1) visual modelling
(2) equation (equation 其实是 tree structure, simultaneous equation 其实是
forest)
(3) decision tree
(4) 娃版 foundation of mathematics (mathematical logic)
(5) 其它的娃版 mathematical logic
所以俺推娃时，最担心这个。。。驾校司机爷爷说，你基本没法让瞎子开车。。。而腿
短的话，大不了支根小棍。。。 |

发帖数: 10908 | 27 我觉得 National Top 10% 开始，如果自家有条件，也不要浪费资源，能加料就加一点。
对于目标而言，中小学的 mathematics 总的来说都是基础，而大多数 science / STEM
都需要 mathematics 的基础。。。所以在 中小学 mathematics 方面，我觉得抱着有
多大能力/资源就办多大事儿的想法，总不会错，不用担心学了用不到，最多就是具体
公式用不到而已。
至于加料的方向，我觉得学校的数学侧重实用，立即有用。。。所以加料可以从长远考
虑，这样跟学校互补。。。我觉得一个方向就是娃版 mathematical structure & 娃版
mathematical logics 方面加强一下。。。或者通俗的说法就是 “数学的思想/理念
” （当然不是指哲学系的做派，还是从实用数学角度考虑的，只是 立竿见影 vs 从长
计议 的差别）。
俺的个人看法，不一定对就是了。
：我家娃比你长女小一点，虽说老中的孩子数学不可能差到哪里去，
：但周围0.01到0.1陶水平的神童很多，那些神童有一个显著特点， |

幼儿园里的 comments 算是比较先进的娃，但她是个普通娃，不符合任何这些指标。
阅读方面：
我家小娃现在 6 岁，她的 phonics 差不多就是该年级的正常水平。虽然小娃她对
阅读有通常小孩的兴趣，但跟通常小孩一样，她对娃版教育节目兴趣更大。。。但
另一方面，而娃版教育 video 的 non-interactive 的方式，对通常小娃影响不大
。。。因为通常小娃还有 attention span 调节，或者 “一边XX一边YY”，也不太
容易到过犹不及的程度。
记忆方面：
我家小娃虽然在幼儿园里被夸记忆力很好，但实际上她还是经常忘记。。。这并不
是说小娃她的记忆力有啥问题，而是说通常小孩的大脑是被布线成忘记大脑认为不
重要的东西，或者暂时无法理解的东西（大脑内部的马工循环校验码一定要 pass，
否则就不是数学阅读学习的问题，这可能有精神分裂症的风险了）。。。这导致通常
小娃都是采取 spiral 的学习方式。。。而且通常小娃会抵抗简单重复的练习，宁可

新加坡国立大学数学系的前身可以追溯到1929年的Raffles College。当时理学院开设
了数学，化学，物理三门课程，不过总共也就只有十个学生和三位教师，其中有一位是
数学教师。第一届数学系的领导（从1931年到1959年）是Alexander Oppenheim教授，
他是在美国芝加哥大学获得的博士学位。从1929年开始，在新加坡的教育系统中，数学
教育事业得到了巨大的发展，对现在的新加坡国立大学和南洋理工大学的建立起到了至
关重要的作用。
随着NUS的建立，数学系就进入了一个新的时代。新的校区在Kent Ridge，1986年理学
院和数学系就在这里成立。这个时候，数学系就有了巨大的发展，不仅在本科生的招生
