Preliminary Medicine is designed as the PGY-1 for some advanced programs (
Anesth, Rads, Neuro, etc.). |

programs are offering it free or small amount of fee for their residents in
NYC, NJ. almost 70% of the internal medicine board questions are from that
course.
当然了，为了学知识还是MKSAP经典， Medstudy 我最喜欢Renal. |

program residency 的位置少的可怜， 有的就要4 个， 要求高也很正常，
不过现在的形势下， 能拿到3 IV, 厉害。
难怪老印多， 还是有道理的，
大家努力吧，别让老印把机会都给用了， |

together? Like couple pages a day and finish it in 2 weeks or so? I heard
it will be a very good preparation for our residency, especially if you
are doing IM or just internship.
I am just trying to find out how many folk is interested and we can
possibly start a Skype group for this. Probably 1 hour or so a day for 2
week. Just brainstorming... PM me if interested.

医师资格证书和执业证书。我已经通过了USMLE的考试。办理limited permit 的时候填
写了国内医师证书，现在要求国内出证明。我想问过办过的筒子，是在卫生局办理的还
是在卫生部办的？（证书上发证机关是卫生局，但是卫生部章子）。
另外还要求child abuse course，我想问问哪里可以上这个课。

现在为顺序发愁。
我到底是应该把哪个放在前面？
医院不重要，重要的是什么科。
一直认为，pathologist不像是医生，因为他们不和病人直接接触。但是在申请过程中
，看法有一点点改变。觉得pathology也不错，life style不错，pay的也蛮好，还不是
很累。但总是觉得欠缺了点什么。
做internal medicine的话，应该很累的。我虽然很乐意很病人打交道，但是如果让我
一天12个小时一直干这个，恐怕我又受不了。
现在真的比较迷惑，我的职业规划很不明确。
问问板上曾经也像我这样摇摆不定的同学们，你们的选择是什么，为什么呢？

the flexibility of locations once I am done with residency. I think it is
better for internal medicine because the job market is bigger. But the most
important thing (90%) is still which one you like the better. |

科，心脏科，内分泌科都很注重疾病一级二级预防，家庭科的特点是providing
community care and education，不过我不是家庭科的，所以还是需要其他同学来补充。
其实，你要真的下功夫，还是可以去看看各种family medicine residency program的
自我介绍和他们的培养方向，这样写起来就更加有的放矢了。 |

They require a one year training in Internal Medicine.
As far as I know.
Primary care path is included in the categorical program. |
