发帖数: 128 | 12 起因是上上周家里父亲突然住院,我写信给老板请了七天病假回国看我父亲.老板当时没
回信,但是我老板常年在外,几乎见不着人,写信也的确很少在一星期内回复.再说我做博
后这几年,几乎一次病假事假都没歇过(周末也来加班的,自愿的,老板才不管),假期早就
封顶了.老板不回信我也不奇怪.
回来后见老板,老板轻描淡写的说以后病假超过五天要用FMSA还是什么的,下次注意就好
了,同时递给了我一份Memo. 然后老板就继续谈我将来的计划.
回到实验室我打开memo一看,奇怪的是这个Memo有两份,不同Version, 一份说我不能请
超过五天的病假,超过五天要申请FMSA,所以这七天要算vacation. Memo里指出我这么
做是lack of integrity, 再有一次就立刻开除.
另外一份和我老板跟我谈话态度内容相吻合,非常和颜悦色(不知道没关系,下次要注意
就行了之类的).
问问各位faculty前辈,我老板这是想做什么?想fire我么?他犯的上嘛?我已经找到工作,
年底就要离开实验室了.
要不要问问他,几个意思啊? |

解法当中唯一的问题就是set判重错了，ArrayList是没有重定义hash()跟
equals()方法的，所以判重就只看是否是同一个reference。

２００７－２０１２）。今年恰好是哈佛录取亚裔较高的一年。七年中，录取率就在
１７.６－２０.７％的区间波动。
从这个数据比较中，你能说今年的２０.７％是因为一个有始无终的调查吗？

天后碰到大老板，他说会找时间和我讨论。但一直没和大老板有机会讨论。小老板大约
一周后回到办公室，我提乐一下memo的事因为他一向不喜欢别人直接找我做事。他说大
老板叫他review一下。我以为他看完后会告我他的意见。刚收到邮件原来他把memo加了
一句话，以他的名义发给总部他的老板和我的老板，cc我和这里的大老板。
其实我也不是要争什么credit，就是有点出乎意料因为我不常写memo。

放个马后炮，我觉得你可能你在写PL的时候没有读那个著名的memo,RFE里提到的几个问
题，那个memo里有详细的说明，尤其是你提到的推荐信，什么样的推荐信会add value,
什么样的不，那个memo里写得很清楚，你正好中枪。如果你读了那个memo的话，这些问
题在写PL和推荐信的时候都可以绕过去。
所以我建议板主把我昨天发的那个link mark一下，有人回复说那是"考试大纲“来的，
我觉得这个词用得很好。考前要读考试大纲。 |

EB23闹成这样有失体面，在于我只注意了AP的便利性（H1B也可以往返，并非生死问题
）和EAD可以让配偶工作，而忽视了EAD的另一个重要性。经过某些EB2的再教育，体会
到了为什么EB3应该全力阻止EB2降级。
其实最重要的是EAD的一项功能。根据AC21法律，在485上交180后，不仅仅可以换工
作（前雇主撤掉140也没关系），还可以在失业的情况下保住身份，重新上路。那么485
就不是所谓锦上添花的效能，而是可以和绿卡比肩了。
基于此判断，我鼓励所有的EB3使用各种方法保住自己的排期，坚决阻击EB2的降级。

不出来么？白宫给出的2条就是改革的细节: expand EAD 以及 grant parole。Jeh

memo中的第一条。
vb改好了，然后才会有portability的改进。这是memo中的最后一条。
乐观派引用了一些主流律师提出的pre-registration的概念，能很好的解释，如何改革
