I have a double wall oven, but if I have a choice, I would select a build in
microwave + oven. We rarely use both ovens at the same time. Of course, if
you can afford a microwave plus double oven, that is even better. |

不转，还是有正常使用时那种噪音，就是不转不制热。
因为是combo，和烤箱一体的，要换就得跟烤箱整个一起换，得好几千，所以还是修修
算了。
不知道微波炉什么问题，请版上高手出出主意。谢谢

1. home inspector的 comment "permanently installed microwaves require a
dedicated 20 amp circuit. I did not see this in the electric panel. I
recommend ensuring that the microwaves has been properly installed in
accordance with the manufacturer guidelines".
这个需要修吗? 另外微波炉刚好在炉子上方,以后肯定要拆了装油烟机. 油烟机需要20
amp circuit吗?
2. Furnace/AC 的使用寿命都基本到了, 但是仍然工作,可以要 1年的 home warranty
吗? 这个一年大概多少钱?

了LZ尽量不通过Builder升级的想法。因为LZ也没有太多相关的经验，所以想向大家请
教一下几个问题：
1. 抽油烟机。Builder给的选项都是above range microwave的那种，自带的fan只有
300cfm。我家新房管道是排外的，尺寸应该是标准（30）。跟builder交涉的时候遇到
各种扯皮，目测他们是不会帮我们重新做cabinet去fit microwave了，所以现在我们的
选项貌似只能在搬进去以后，自己买神器请人安装，同时自行购买单独的微波炉放在厨
房台面。大伙儿是否同意？
2. 地板。DC给的报价整套房（Townhouse,三层楼），如果安装engineer wood floor，
升级费用是$43K，不用说也肯定是超级溢价了。现在我从一个华人contractor拿到的
quote是8000-8500人工费（4-4.5/sqt+楼梯一级$50），请问是否合理？又或者更佳的
方案是从lowes买地板然后直接让他们安装？

力. 老中做饭油烟大. 如果抽油烟机是靠外墙的话，安装起来应该不难. 我们当时自己
把microwave, range hood comb拿下来. 让contractor帮我们换厨房的countertop的时
候顺便把我们自己买的抽油烟机装上. 只要你量好抽油烟机的尺寸，完全可以做.
2. 地板这个价格要看你买什么样的，而且builder给的这个4万3要cover多少sq ft. 通
常找builder做肯定贵, 这是肯定的. 在不知道你打算用具体什么样子的木板，很难确
定价格是否合理.
3. 这个不太清楚. 我们当时用builder给的credits. 我自己觉得这种事情找外面人做
不见得便宜. 人家要去给墙挖洞，接线，安装额外的switch.
4. 要看什么样的quartz. builder应该不允许你私自在没有close之前从外面找
contractor. 这种事情我觉得应该close以后搞. 我们当时去designer那里，builder只

two breakers (#1 and #2) control the stove (40 amp) which has two hot wires
and one ground copper.
breaker #3, 20 amp, supposedly for microwave use
breaker #4, 20 amp, supposedly for two other recep in kitchen and kitchen
island receps.
Right now all four breakers (#1- #4) use the same neutral, looks like 10
gauge wire.
breaker #1 and #2 bangled together whereas #3 and #4 are not linked together

The microwave has metal cover, but 电磁炉 directly emit the wave to outside.
The safest way is to keep far away from the working microwave oven or let
other family member use the oven
BTW, did you measure the wireless network of laptop? I'm very curious about
that.

我就用过一个MICROWAVE STERILIZER，用来消毒PUMP的东西，
其实我觉得只要足够大，又可以放进自家的MICROWAVE就可以了，牌子无所谓
或者DISHWASHER也是很方便，但是因为DISHWASHER运行时间长，
要多备几套备用。
至于体温计，我家就用最土的，放在腋下的，医院给的。我觉得就可以了，
BABY的时候通常没那么病，多数是大人自己的烦恼 |

个月了, 但是一直没有收到房东关于押
金的说法. 今天打电话问了, 说我们损坏了microwave和stove, 他们要replace, 没有
听清具体花了多少钱, 说会给我一份
copy让我看看. 听着意思像是搞不好还要我多交钱.
说说这个microwave吧, 由于老美的习惯是放在stove的正上方, 顺便当抽风机用, 但是
不可避免的就是溅了很多油在上面,
我也作好噢这个准备去pay这个了, stove我觉得还ok, 表面的油我都擦了比较干净了,
绝对达不到说要replace的地步, 我很
诧异他们说要全部换掉, 还要再进一步什么furnicher, 估计都要我出钱? 说我们临走
的时候应该是刚来的时候一样才行, 那怎
么可能呢?
