我等在美帝各色人等中混迹近20年，从未听到一个本地人讲过motherland。美帝一般用
homeland指本国。讲motherland最多的是神州留学生。在美帝语境中，这词大约相当于
中文的“故国”，与“祖国母亲”这种不伦不类的现代汉语表述不搭界。 后者
是从苏俄语言（Россия-Матушка, 大致相当于Mother Russia ——俄罗
斯老妈）转译成汉语的一种表述，盛行于布尔什维克革命时的宣传，如今在汉语中演化
成了黄俄口头语，可悲。 |

我觉得是首挺悲催的歌，不太稀饭原版节奏，难得被我找到这个钢琴伴奏，于是根据我
自己的理解改了改，中间和结尾没印象原唱怎么唱的了，也是自己瞎改的。所以熟悉这
首歌的人莫笑 ：D

施文元教授是O C E F 的 前身—中国教育救援会（SOS China Education Fund）的发
起人及首任会长。他早年在中国复旦大学从事遗传学研究，于84年年底年赴美留学取得
博士学位，成为第一位在加州大学洛杉矶分校医学院医学系担任副教授、系主任的华人
。施教授虽身处美国，但一直关心中国教育发展，目前是北京大学的长江教授，中国千
人计划成员。
1992年，我刚刚博士毕业后不久，当时的我感到很幸福，虽然已是三十而立，但拿到博
士学位更多的是靠运气和机遇。因为我在小学、中学、大学都遇到了很好的老师，特别
是复旦大学遗传学教授谭家振先生，他是当年唯一的外籍科学院院士，对我赞赏有加，

No. 白宫邀请无须事先向中方通报。美国人喜欢把国宴按家宴的方式搞，不可能事先
还和客人讨论嘉宾人选，这在美国看来反而是不礼貌的行为，显得邀请人没有诚意。
Yes. 就象你去听音乐会的时候当然会知道谁在表演。
No. 曲目方面中美双方都不会先行审核，完全由受邀艺术家自己决定，只会在时间和
气氛安排方面有点商仪。中方只会在邀请函上看到相关内容。
如上，在美国这种场合表演，挑的是“自己人”，不可能有审核曲目这个习惯。
更加没有了。朗朗这种人表演很多，忙都忙不过来，白宫邀请他的时候肯定还要考虑
档期排满被拒绝的风险，绝不可能还要朗朗事先打什么小报告。曲目方面最多就是朗
朗给白宫传真一个play bill，无非就是个title和duration。很多人讨论到底是不是谁
故意的，谁应该付政治责任云云，都是典型的中国人的习惯性思维。这个事情事先中
美都没有人知道，拿到曲目单看到的就是"piano solo: my motherland by langlang"，
鬼知道my motherland是哪首啊？叫这个title多了，又不可能有“电影上甘岭插曲”这
