Newbie want to buy a nice av receiver, my own interest is classic music but
want use it for HT as well.
I have my eyes on the a2000, as many review says it's good for music.This is
last year's model and is on sale for 1k. Planning to use it to drive polk
lsi15 or tsia9, might upgrade to seprate amp in the future.
Then I saw this year's 2010 for significant more.
Should I go for last year's model or get the latest to save some regret in
the future?
Any advice will be appreciated. |

still managed to shipped it outand got it this morning, had been listening
it all day.
Ordered DT880 after cancelling HD 598, got it this evening.
I am using FIIO E10 for both.
HD 598's mid range sounds really sweet but bass is boomy. DT880 has a very
natural, controlled bass but mid range seems a bit recessed than HD 598.
On E10, I have to open the volume all the way for dt 880, is this the reason

发帖数: 351 | 3 刚买了Sonus Faber (second hand). When I listen to some CDs(正版), 高音喇叭近听有咝咝噪音, 特别是当CD中只有中低音. When DVD is turned off, but receiver is on, there is no 咝咝 at all.
When I use TV, especially listen to talk show, there is no 咝咝噪音 at all.
Please help me where is the problem?
My setup:

DVD player: Panasonic DVD-RV65 (old, but it has 24bits), connected to
Receiver using digital optical.
Receiver: Denon AVR3805
The speaker line is cheap.

black friday's garbage.

Between the songs, there is no 咝咝噪音 at all. I think that we can exclude
the speakers.
Perhaps DVD player or receiver? |

played Chinese traditional music, European strings, etc today. the sound
is so wonderful and touching. I never thought gu zheng, er hu could sound so
beautiful.
really love it.
and also tried movie just using stereo. simply excellent.

经过一番波折, 进了 VPI classic 1 唱盘和ortofon 2M black 唱头，算是接近中档
水平.价格比我的数字音源稍便宜一些.
关于调试
如果不是经常更换唱头的话,调试也基本只是一次性工作,也不算太繁. 除非你用软悬
挂的系统如linn 12, 据说调试工作量大. 很多新出的唱盘厂家都已经 作了预先调试,
所以更容易.
装上 唱头,调整转盘水平,用校规调了AB 点, 然后调azumith,用针压计调VTF。VPI 不
建议调anti-skate，所以省略这一步。最后悲剧的发现唱头太轻，counterweight 调到
最近也没法平衡唱臂。
只好临时找了块硅胶粘在headshell上。（后来联络了VPI，需要买个3克的 垫片，装在
唱头和headshell 之间。）
花了2个多小时,把系统初步setup了（其实唱臂和唱头的平行调得还不是很准，主要是

according to some people. But if you look at the harmonic distortion plot on
headphone.com, hd650 seems to be a much better headphone to me.
But I'm actually a newbie, so don't really know... :)

idea). The fee for buying a stock (not real time, at the closing price of a
certain day you specify) is $4, which is reasonable, if you have $800 to
invest. But the sell market order cost $16.95, as I recall.
So this is really for buy and hold type investors. These days there are not
many good buy and hold stocks, in my mind. If you have a lot of patience, I
think you can try them.

I'll be honest to you: Usually when I see this kind of statement I
delete the post, because it's plainly naive to me and I think it can
be very misleading to newbies. The reason your system is successful
recently is most likely because we are in a good trend market. I don't
trust anything that hasn't been back-tested for 10 years. And yet I
haven't seen anything personally that can pass a strict back-test
for 10 years with enough samples.

original account aggregator.
I use both and Yodlee can connect to more accounts than Mint. Yodlee's

credit card transactions come up as "unknown type" on Mint. Whereas Yodlee
get like 98% right.

I don't believe the major drag of performance is from fund expense (or "
hidden fees"), slippage, commissions, or taxes, etc.
