newer books to dispute his argument. Two come to mind quickly, one edited by
the late Samuel Huntington: Culture Matters: How Values Shape Human
Progress. The other is written by Michael Hart: Understanding Human History:
An Analysis Including the Effects of Geography and Differential Evolution
Second, Diamond's book didn't win Pulitzer price for nothing. It is probably

later US started the interstate system and mostly use federal and state tax
money, they are not allowed to be tollways, except a couple of exception.
newer freeways that don't use much federal tax money can still be tollway,
