The main characteristics of the Stockholm Syndrome, I believe, is that
the hostage would obey or even defend the hostage-taker even
when there _isn't_ a gun pointed at their head.

He is talking as if the insurance companies or doctors
didn't have to also obey the basic supply/demand laws
and could just sit there raising the price tags blindly.
If house prices can't really outgrow people's income,
what makes him think insurance premiums or medical
costs can? |
