Zuppa Toscana这种汤。当时Olive Garden中午有汤+沙拉+面包无限量供应，才$5.99，
可谓物美价廉。后来才知道Olive Garden做的是意大利菜，而且这种全国连锁店，都是
大路货的口味。口味这种东西，一般来说，是能上不能下的（当然，除非是饿慌了饥不
择食）。当你发现更高一级的口味后，让他你再回到原来的口味，就索然无味。形象一
点地说，就是吃过Olive Garden，再去吃麦当劳肯定食同嚼蜡。吃过Devon，再吃Red
Lobster肯定觉得粗疏平庸。而吃过Charlie Trotter's后----那估计就不要吃饭了。
在Olive Garden和Red Lobster这种全国性的中档连锁店之上的一层就是高档连锁店，
比如New York著名的一些餐馆在Las Vegas都有分号。Maggiano's Little Italy就是一
家高档的意大利菜馆。不仅芝加哥有，其他城市也有分号。

1. Red wine VS White wine
Red wine is better.
用于酿造红酒的葡萄皮中有抗氧化成分，
可以起到抗炎镇痛、抗凝血、改善胆固醇等作用，有利于心血管健康。
不过，最新研究表明抗氧化成分在白葡萄酒中也有一定数目的存在。
另外葡萄皮中含有单宁酸（tannins），某些人摄入后会头疼。
最后，酒是减肥的大敌，减肥的人不应饮酒。
2. Mixed nuts VS Olive
Olive is better.
Olive中富含单不饱和脂肪，有助于降低胆固醇。
同时Olive热量低，一次可以多吃点。
不过，nuts里面单不饱和脂肪也很多，

留了天然营养成分。颜色呈黄绿色，气味清香，是地中海沿岸各国人民的传统食用油。

最近看过几本Oliver Sacks的书，感觉就是记忆是最不可靠的东西，很多都是经过大脑
的无意识改编。说是Sacks记得儿时在伦敦经历轰炸，半夜出来看到外面邻居的房子的
废墟，历历在目。后来据他哥哥证实，二战时Oliver一直住在乡下，不可能经历伦敦空
袭。后来Oliver自己也查证了这个事实，但是这个空袭之夜一直铭记在他脑海。
后来据他分析，可能听别人描述这个轰炸之夜，久而久之，意识就把这件事情细节化，
编成了自己的亲身经历。
楼主的经历，七岁，醉酒，很美好，但是是否跟Oliver Sacks的伦敦之夜类似呢？

感想。Jill Robinson 是Animal Asia 的创始人，她是英格兰人，本来生活在香港 。
在1993年，偶然发现了被活熊取胆的月熊们炼狱般的遭遇，从此建立了Animal Asia，
致力于拯救月熊，建立成都和越南月熊保护区，以及开展保护猫狗，推行猫狗是宠物不
是食物的。
本来网上看了很多残忍对待月熊的报道，其实去这个活动我还挺担心，主要受不了那些
照片，看一次难受一次。结果Jill Robinson 的演讲精彩的出乎意料。
开始她放了很多可爱月熊在Animal Asia 保护区的照片。然后她说，我下面要放的照片
，希望大家能够勇敢的看完，只有这样你们才能把话传出去，让更多人知道，才能帮助

提要：躬逢同治变法暨中国现代高等教育开创145周年，重温历史，对推动现代化建设
很有现实意义。前几年，曾由山西省政府拨款，在这次变法的智囊、首任总管同文馆事
务大臣（即中国第一所现代高等学校首任校长）徐继畬的家乡举行过“纪念徐继畬暨中
国现代高等教育开创140周年研讨会”。希望如今有更高层次、更多相关学校（如北大
、北师大……）、部门和人士有所表示、行动。
在中国早期现代化的启动阶段，同治年间同文馆天文算学馆计划，是“古今一大变局”
之中的变法。1866年12月至1867年8月，变法计划的出台及由此引起的风波，对中国现
代化进程的影响十分深远。海外学者认为，总理各国事务衙门事前曾“作出了一个实在
大胆的计划，此计划的激进性质，通常为历史学家所忽略”，是一次受到挫折的变法。
