别人数学系有很大一个方向专门做Optimization。而且，要学Optimization也应该选
Combinatorial Optimization，而非Numerical Optimization。Numerical
Optimization方面已经没什么可以突破的了，大部分问题都有现成的软件直接跑。
Combinatorial Optimization方面的trick很多，到现在没有一个统一的方法可以解决。 |

我对统计学中的某些错误的批判是有事实根据的。我做了一个关于三分法的实例样本分析，例子是冠心病发病因素的logistic 模型研究。无论是采用对称分割法还是采用非对称分割法，两种方法找到的两个临界点几乎一致，差别只是可信区间，全样本非对称迭代搜索得到的可信区间较半侧对称搜索得到的可信区间要窄很多。这非常合理，因为对每个临界点搜索时的样本量大了近一倍，因而可信区间就变窄了（注意，而不是相反）。
我也用了一个简单的两分法来进行随机模拟试验，结果出奇的好，因为这个方法里没有任何前提假设。而建立在强制连续性假设和最优化模型选择基础上的方法论的模拟结果可谓是惨不忍睹。模拟方法见《评论陈立功其人其事》。
我真的不care我的文章出现在哪里，只要是公开渠道就行了。我确实有自己的一套概念系统，这个与大家是有差别的。我也说了，它只是一个简单的初级系统。任何一个高中生系统学过的话都将明白而不会发生任何逻辑障碍。这里有些人认为它晦涩难懂，是因为他们的基本哲学素养过于欠缺的缘故。这不是我的问题。

原题：给定M个数字的从1到N的整数数组，找出一个大小为K的子集，这个子集
的半径定义为最小的pair Distance，让找出最大半径的这样的子集。
首先说如果是brute force, 要从M个数中选出K个数，然后计算每个K子集的半径，找到
最大的那个，复杂度为 C(M,K), 算是exponential的了。。
然后很显然这是个optimization problem (maximize the radius),所以可以考虑用DP.
用DP的最重要的就是找到如何从已知的optimal subproblem, 推导出当前的optimal
state. 对于这个题，就是如何从已知的optimal (K-1)元素的子集的， 得到含有K元素
的optimal的子集。
在回复很多人都知道这一点，如果没有特殊的约束条件，这两个子集可以完全不一样，
也构不成DP中的subproblem了。所以我们要先sort输入数组，这样保证了每一个pair

good enough 的 sub-optimal。
