I will say Most likely it is osteoarthritis. Still you will need to see a
good orthopedic doctor to rule out other inflammatory possibilities. If it
is osteoarthritis, no medication available can reverse it. It is all about
quality of life - pain management, avoid aggressive use and excessive weight

2) limited range of movement at the wrist joint
3) pain radiating to fingers
You can discuss that with your family doctor (not OB doctor), particularly

DDH treatment is age dependent. It seems that in US, more aggressive
treatment will be used if patient is more than 6 mo old and has definitive

Going to the ER is your choice (and how sure you are about that self-
diagnosis). The ER will confirm diagnosis, give you pain killer and splint
your foot. Then you need to see an orthopedic doctor within a few days (
going through your PCP may make it quicker). |

some congenital abnormality, not necessarily severe acute tear. but, without
actually examining you, I wouldn't rule out other causes.
you will need to see an orthopedic surgeon. it would be determined which
meniscus (lateral or medial or both) is involved. probably an MRI, then
decide whether surgery is needed. |

3岁娃，偶然发现一只脚的外侧踝关节下方有个pea sized 硬硬的突起。我自己觉得按
压是不怎么动的（就是没有attached to the skin)。没有受伤史，也不排除娃偶尔扭
了没告诉我们。
带去看了儿医，儿医说是推的动，问没有食欲变差也没有weight loss，也不痛，摸了
淋巴结都没异常。送去拍了x-ray，说骨头没问题。儿医说要么自己观察一阵子，要么
带去看 pediatric orthopedic specialist。
有儿科/骨科经验的知道有些什么可能原因么？还有什么检查手段可以确诊呢？比如B超
可以检测是否是cyst？

学校health services说是sprain 用elastic band绑了一周 没有好转
问他们是不是要拍个片子 assure我说not necessary
我没有他们那么乐观 还是自己去拍了个xray 片子给health services的医生看 说我没
事没有骨折 再绑一段时间就好了
我不信 自己去医院要来xray disc 有一根骨头（ulna）都快穿皮肤而出了不过倒是真
的看不出fracture 上网放狗一搜 有个dislocation的病例片子跟我的简直一模一样
最后自己去了医院找了orthopedic surgeon 看了片子 诊断为Closed dislocation of
distal radioulnar (joint)
打了一个over-elbow cast for 6 weeks 就是把手腕强拧过去按在那里
现在拆掉石膏已经2 weeks 左手略能活动 医生让做occupational therapy
但是左右forearm 手腕关节明显不对称 旋转角度也非常有限 时有疼痛

到家贴上heat patch 一两个小时后，忽然由酸变成剧烈疼痛，严重到不能坐，不能站
，甚至在床上翻身都非常痛。好在在床上躺了10个小时后就好了。第二天基本复原，只
是下蹲时感觉腰下还有隐隐的酸疼。

胖患者（BMI > 23）药物会有额外好处
糖尿病和肩周炎有关，糖尿病前期不好说。理疗效果不好就会去找orthopedics复诊，
