诉说着心里的爱恋，很平静，有点忧伤。去找伴奏的时候又找到了Gorge Michael的版
本。婉转的男声陪上他姣好的面容和gay的背景，实在是骚得不行。我把两个都听了很
多遍，虽然用的伴奏是Gorge Michael版的，我想我最后的演唱还是和他们两个都不同
，多了点悲愤和撕裂。
最后说一遍那个坑爹的youtube伴奏，几乎是只有节奏没有旋律，还不带歌词，害我多

几天前在家里聊起喜欢的声音，我们一致认为邦妮瑞特的歌听来特别舒服。于是就把这
张《抽签的运气》翻出来了。瑞特是个全能型歌手，写歌，演奏，演唱样样在行。布鲁
斯/乡村风格的旋律和节奏的歌曲在她轻松不失弹性，略带沧桑的嗓音下听来特别舒服。
碟中收录的I can’t make you love me由于一直上榜以前听得特别多，但是专辑里面
的节奏丰富多样，邦妮都驾驭非常自如 。从愉悦的something to talk about, no the
only one，到雷鬼风格的come to me，都是非常性感的演绎。
最后的两首，同名歌曲luck of the draw和all at once,总结了人生的脆弱和无奈，隽

patrons only",我们在一个店买了冰激凌，去周围一个公园转了一圈，回来发现车车被
boot,打电话他来了要罚我们50刀，我跟他们argue说，我们是patron啊，他说"you can
not leave the property"，然后说有complaint可以打他们公司电话或者之间call city
police. 我查了一下我们州的法律，没有规定说不可以leave property啊。真是气死，谁
碰到过类似情况？有要回来钱的可能吗？
另外，我用credit card付的钱，能不能打电话给银行dispute掉这种charge?

回国探亲时去看朋友，前脚告辞，后脚朋友的爸爸就问：“她在美国干什么呢？”朋友答：“在图书馆工作。”老人愤然：“中国就没有图书馆了吗？！”朋友当笑话讲给我听，我被老人的逻辑绊住，一时语塞。等我把时差倒完，就反应过来――我其实有话回答那位老爸：虽然不能说“中国没有图书馆”，但中国的图书馆，与美国的图书馆，完全不是一个概念。
刚到美国时，并没想在公共图书馆扎根，以为过不了多久自己就会跳槽。未料，两三年后，我已死心踏地要为美国的公共图书馆鞠公开尽瘁了。
据美国图书馆协会的估计，全美国各级公共图书馆，大大小小共有9220多个。我供职的这一个，是新泽西州南布镇公共图书馆，最草根的那一类。
不止是“图书之馆”
美国图书馆对于民众而言具有四项功能：
首先是信息功能。

Hiempsal II烦心的事。一个叫Masintha的Numidia人向元老院提出请求，希望得到罗马
对他的Numidia王室身份的承认。他极为可能是Jugurtha的后代，也许是他的孙子。我
们知道Jugurtha的儿子们都在意大利被看管起来，中间那么乱，有些人摆脱了软禁的境
遇是很有可能的，到了62BC前后，这些Jugurtha的儿子们还活着的话应该是40岁上下。
Suetonius在记述这件事的时候，提到Masintha此时还是一个青年（iuvenis），所以他
是Jugurtha的可能性比较大。Masintha的背后是有人支持的，这个人不是别人，就是后
来的Deified Gaius Julius Caesar。此时Caesar正在大法官（Praetor）的任上。
Masintha是他的依附者(client) ，他是Masintha的保护人（patron），就如同Marius
