我儿子3岁7个月,今年9月正式上pre school.之前都是我自己在家带.
我儿子说话很晚2岁半左右才开始说话,现在能说很简单的句子和父母简单的对话,复杂
的还是说不来.
我们在家说汉语,老公也让我在家推汉语.孩子会认几十个汉字和背几首唐诗.我们在家
基本没有交过孩子英语,除了简单的几个单词,比如食物和上厕所.
现在孩子在学校表现很不好,我每天接孩子都被留下跟老师谈话.孩子表现不好主要是
behavior的问题,比如上gym课总是到处跑不听话,玩gym里面emergency exit的门.老师
跟他说了很多次no,他都不听.(我儿子英语不好,但是知道No的意思).今天学校搞活动,
换了地方上课,我儿子就大哭.老师今天跟我说经过一段时间的观察,她觉得我儿子特别
不喜欢change,喜欢consistency和routine.

小孩脚上的先天性色素痣，PCP叫去看pediatric dermatologist，看完后，说她不做手
术，叫去Pediatric Plastic Surgery；打电话去约，问了情况，说只做大面积的，不
做1-2cm小的，叫去Pediatric Surgery；
打电话约了，也没说不行，等见到医生后，却说他不做feet的，这个事还得再去
pediatric plastic，告诉他之前联系过，叫来这里的，医生说：那是pediatric
plastic接线员made mistake；说那里不止做大的，也做小的。
于是又打电话给Pediatrci plastic surgery，讲了上面的故事，接线员又去问了
supervisor，结果回答还是他们不做手和脚上的痣的事情，说很多医生不知道他们这个

现在我们宝宝有27周了，我们怀这个宝宝真的很不容易。结果25周的时候做B超说宝宝
有先天性心脏病，是大动脉错位。我们当时听了就是天塌了一般。怎么会这样？我们也
没有做害人的事，为什么这么倒霉的事会碰到我们身上。今天去大医院又做了一次，结
果还是一样的。我们都不知道怎么办了。怎么还会有这种病。宝宝生下来必须要做开胸
手术，尽管医生说手术成功率在90%以上，但是这种手术80年代才开始做，目前还没有
更大岁数的病人。不知道大家有没有听说过这种病，希望大家给些这方面的信息。先谢
了。
今天还做了大B超，查的很详细，最好医生说小脑也有可能发育不良，但不是很确定，
只是有可能。怎么办呢？难道我们宝宝智力和身体都不好？现在也不可能中止妊娠了，

发帖数: 33 | 12 带小朋友去看pediatric dentist。医生给她数了数牙齿，就说要做8个大牙的cap（相当于crown）和两个root canal。 比较疑惑的是，大人看牙还要照x－ray才能确定crown和root canal的treatment plan，儿医count两下牙齿就这么肯定
吗？这个医生的计划是保险approve后 （自己还要付1600刀），就直接预约到children's hospital 去做手术去，一次做完，用笑气（？）麻醉。
现在还在寻求second opinion。觉得找个好的pediatric dentist不容易。这是小朋友看的第二个pediatric dentist了。半年前看的一个说她有4颗虫牙，做temporary filling就行了，管到5岁。我们做了2-3个，没做完是小朋友太小不配合，医
生说过一阵再来。 可是第二个pediatric dentist说temporary filling两三个月就掉了，没用的。 可怜小孩子经历同样的hassle & pain，做的还是白花银子没有用的filling. |

Without knowing the kind of cancer -- the options are:
Neurosurgery: Johns Hopkins, Barrow Institute or other large academic

我们看了儿医两周没有好转，看了pediatric dermatologist后控制得很好。
我们用了0.1%的可的松，连用10天，控制住后抹Aquaphor。
另外，儿医说一周只洗两次澡最多。但是pediatric dermatologist说要天天洗澡。我
们天天洗了，现在没有全好完，但是比之前好太多了。 |

Just make sure that you hoop up with a top noche pediatric cardiac hospital/
program. Don't know where you live but you may ask your OB or future
pedicatrician for pre-natal referal. US news also has ranking of pediatric
cardiology programs to give you some ideas. I would encourage you to talk to
the pediatric cardiologist or CT surgeon regarding outcomes before the baby
is delivered, if it has not been done yet. |

但是左思右想觉得还是看过医生放心点，另外问的不少生活中的朋友都提到出水的地方
还要涂抗生素防止感染，是处方药。所以决定去看了医生，然后儿医给开了药。要拿回
来我就给娃涂了。在原帖写了update.

有mm提醒我看全药名，一般不会是0.1％可的松，而是更强的激素（药名是两个单词，

我孩子不到三岁，15个月因为发育滞后开始接受EI治疗，18个月时EI机构严重怀疑自闭
，排队几个月后21个月在美国top5的权威儿童医院拿到经典自闭的诊断之后一直接受强
度很大的各种训练。。我不常来逛这个坛子，因为我家孩子让我担心的地方，和这里家
长们通常讨论的东西，根本搭不上边。。大家在讨论怎么推娃，上什么兴趣班的时候，
我担忧的是怎么以后能够让娃生活自理，自立而不拖累这个社会，怎么学会和人交流（
说话都是其次的），奢侈点的想法是，怎么主流化，怎么能够自己有一个somewhat
meaningful的生活，父母离开人世的时候，也能让孩子可以有尊严的活着。我们这样家
庭的种种challenge，不是常人能够理解的，我也从没有奢望过普通父母能体会我们的
痛苦。。。但是看到了最近的热贴，有些id对我们这些可怜的家庭们的各种不太善意的
猜测，非常震惊。当然，也同时看到很多general ed， gifted ed的家长们的同情和爱

发帖数: 827 | 39 娃2岁check up的时候，ped看到门牙上似乎有点蛀，refer看了Pediatric Dentists。
Pediatric Dentist看了以后说的确有蛀，但是刚开始，要补。但是因为是门牙，蛀的
部位是2门牙之间的缝隙，所以要把缝隙磨大点，然后再补。
可是这个补牙的过程要1个半小时，并且大人不能陪。我娃听不懂英语，平时也不上学
，从来没离开过大人，平时胆子也小，所以我担心娃会害怕，可是他们说他们是专业的
Pediatric Dentist会有办法哄娃让娃不紧张。
另一个问题他们会用happy air,这东西这么小的娃用有副作用吗？我娃刚24个月。

DELAY。但是咱们双语的孩子，学语言慢也是可以理解的。关键是他是不是一直在进步
，有没有出现语言/交流能力的明显倒退？
一般来说，三种医生可以诊断自闭症：PEDIATRIC NEUROLOGIST, PEDIATRIC
PSYCHOLOGIST, 还有DEVELOPMENTAL PEDIATRICS。你如果真的有这方面的CONCERN，可
以要求儿医REFER这些专科医生。大多数儿医本人没有这个诊断能力。

他们是没有诊断或者排除自闭症的资格的。有这种资格的医生，只能是pediatric

，没有说“不是”。医生能够同意给这个孩子referal，就是因为他也不是100% sure。
否则，他可以拒绝referal.
作为家长，想要一个专科医生的结论，而不是"不像”这种模棱两可的说法，是很负责

当时医生给了我们两家选择，Longwood pediatrics和 centre pediatrics 。
两家都去过。感觉Longwood的医生好像比较knowledgeable,但是有时候等医生等很久，
而且LMA那里rush hour的traffic太厉害了。centre pediatrics交通比较好一点，没等
过很久。
我觉得，不管哪个医院，先打电话问哪些能接受新人，然后比较一下从业时间，男女
preference，看看review，交通方便一点，差不多就行了。

发帖数: 396 | 48 怀孕已经过了20周了，现在在考虑选儿医问题。OB推荐了几个医生，都是在St.
Vincent医院附近的诊所里。两个诊所一个是The Children‘s Clinic，另一个是
Sunset Pediatrics。 我们离那也近，就打算在这两家诊所里选医生。我看了两家的网
站，The Children‘s Clinic好像医生多，网站上信息也丰富。Sunset Pediatrics网
站就很简单。请教版里的朋友们的儿医是这两诊所里的，有没有好的医生能给我推荐一
下？或者了解这两个诊所哪家设施上更好一些，就诊更方便一些？
OB特别推荐了一个是Sunset Pediatrics的Michael Erichson医生。有没有家里孩子儿
医是他的？推荐的人里还有一个是版上讨论过的Iris Han医生，大家之前讨论过，好像
不是很好，我直接不考虑了。
