early intervention机构，最近会有一个两个半小时的evaluation, 然后会安排
speech therapist 和 occupational therapist。
要fully evaluate ASD需要排队至少八个月。我想问一下在diagnose之前，我们有可能
约到ABA吗？如果可以，怎么联系？是不是必须pediatrician refer Pediatric
Neurologist, 再从Pediatric Neurologist那边refer ABA ?

Also see the pediatrics if necessary. My daughter's pediatrics is very
cautious and not too resistant for using antibiotics. If virus, antibiotics
won't help. but in some cases, with antibiotics she did recover faster. |

发帖数: 3027 | 5 儿医这方面总体上根本不行。以下三条路并行走，相互补充：
1。 从医生医院insurance这条路，找pediatric psychologist, 顺带找 pediatric
neurologist。
2。 果有autism research center，可以找research psychologist,去evaluate一下(
他们法律上不能作为诊断，但是个人经验比clinic psychologist要准) 。
3。 找学区special education department去做评估，这个是免费的。估计会给你放到
ASD里面。（但是这个，不等同于clinc psychologist的 ASD诊断，因为是两套不同的
系统）
4。 early intervention也可以去找，在加州叫regional center,不过三周岁以后他们
一般给的帮助比较少，除非帮助特别严重。但是，regional center有个手册，会有非
常详细的帮助机构的清单。 |

者pediatric neurologist之后，一定一定要把孩子日常生活中的表现，你们的concern
，孩子这些年经历的变化，还有他极端挑食的情况，等等等等，非常忠实地反映给医生
。有些family history，肯定不是啥值得骄傲的事情，但请求你务必毫无保留的告诉医
生，千万不要为了面子隐瞒什么了，你们已经耽误他太久。
可能你家老大只要有父母的爱心和耐心，再碰上几个好老师，就能恢复得很好。但是也
有可能，他真的需要专业人士的帮助。这里有些网友提出了一些儿童常见心理/发育疾
病的名字，也有人说：我看不像是自闭症。但是不管怎么说，这些只是可能性而已。只
有亲自接触过你家老大的专科医生，才能判断他需不需要进行进一步的筛查，往哪方面
筛查。只有专业人士和孩子进行一段时间的互动和观察之后，才能对他的状况和需要的
治疗下明确结论。确诊或者排除，都远远超过网友的能力范围，也超过绝大多数父母的
能力范围。即使是医生，也不可能通过网络，就给一个孩子下诊断。你们的任务，就是

即便有自闭，也应该是轻度的。
从解决问题的角度来出发，作为母亲你必须做点什么。
是不是autism只是一个标签，重要的是你怎样帮助孩子更好的发展。
我尝试给点实际的建议，供参考。
先看你的孩子最明显的问题：
1. language delay.
2. not following directions.
3. lack of social skills.
4. repetitive behavior (stimming).
要解决这些问题，常规的做法无非是找专业人士提供特殊教育或者服务（service）。1
需要speech therapy，2-4需要intervention，一般是ABA therapy。
1. 联系你小孩的常规儿医，让他们推荐附近的可以做developmental evaluation的医

明天给打电话给我，然后refer到pediatric cardiologist那里去，做一个详细的心脏
检查。不知道大家的大B超是不是都很容易就看到了心脏中间的十字交叉呢？今天医生

现在的preschool既然是那个态度，不必再留恋了。如果一时找不到合适的学校，找个
有special ed经验的baby sitter帮你。升班是会增加孩子的心理压力，让以前没有的
问题暴露出来。

岁以下的。pediatric od或者md检查会很仔细全面的。个人经验。最后要个报告，俺们

当年做移民体检时在移民局网站上查到她的名字，就奇怪她一个儿科医生怎么可以做，
而且也不像其他人在广告上注明。体检那天问她，她说不打广告的原因是怕别的医生也
跟着做，有竞争。 我觉得这个理由很好笑，不过不关我事，笑笑也就过了。 打疫苗的
时候，她说，她也做成人的医生，而且如果她是我的PCP的话，疫苗的钱就可以从体检
费里扣除，她从保险公司拿。我觉得不错，一家人用一个医生，给娃看病的时候一起顺
带体检，也方便，就选了她做PCP， 她收了我$180现金。后来我发现她也向保险公司
claim了，不过没有说明我是移民体检。。。
后来没多久，她又告诉我，她不做成人了，我想想一个大人的PCP是个pediatric group
, 也挺好笑的，就转走了。现在回忆起来，整个转来转去的过程就像一个暗箱操作，怪
怪的。

至于住房，一般来讲Dayton南部治安住房都较好，beavercreek,bellbrook,oakwood,
centerville都是好区。

不齐，想找个好点的医生看看。我们住Dayton南面,search了一下，Dayton只有几个
Pediatric Ophthalmologists,关键是评价都很差。想问问你们在Cincinnati地区有没

附土土妈的说明：
土土妈妈发给我的情况说明：
土土，男，10周岁,2013年3月份体检发现左肾肿瘤，4月份手术切除。但发现时肿瘤已
经扩散到左侧颈部和胸部的淋巴。肿瘤至今没有完全确诊。基本上，肾癌的医生认为是
xp11.2 基因易位型肾细胞癌（xp11.2 translocation RCC）。 也有别的肿瘤医生认为
是血管周上皮样细胞瘤（PEComa）。之后，先后进行5个月靶向治疗（索坦：Sunitinib
）和1个月（两个疗程）常规化疗（Doxorubicin 50 mg/m2 and Gemcitabine 1500 mg/
m2 biweekly）。效果均不理想，肿瘤继续长大。2014年1月28日第二次手术，试图清扫
全身淋巴肿瘤。但是腹腔打开后，淋巴结的肿瘤太多，靠近血管，无法切除；也没有进
行原来预定的胸部和颈部的手术。继续靶向治疗８周，４月份ＣＴ显示肿瘤比１月份增
大了 30%.目前肚子里的肿瘤太多，向上顶到胃部，吃不下东西，会吐。

a fantastic job. He told him he was taking out sugar bugs during the
process and told my son how many bugs left, etc. He also let my son play
with some of his instruments for a little bit before treatment so my son
will not feel scared. He chatted with my son about my son's fun stories ....
My son was not nervous and I do not think he got 全麻.

several teeth.
We obtained 2nd opinion from my dentist. He said it is not possible to feel
the pain based on the cavity and x-ray. If the teeth are taken good care of,
it will last until new ones. So we did not do anything, and my kid is fine.
It seems the "Pediatric Dentistry" are more aggressive, and recommend more
procedures. Get the 2nd opinion from an adult dentist. |

seattle children's hospital的urgent care 也在bellevue 是walk-in的
一般去pediatric associate看急诊 都能约到当天的appointment 只是不见得是你常看
的医生
我是生完娃之后马上打电话过去约的 之前没有提前打过招呼
因为first time check up好像是1周 生之前打也没办法确定具体时间 |

About five years ago, she claimed she cannot go to Plano medical center, so
she ash her daughter to visit my new borne, I though every pediatrics has
her first patient anyway, so I agree. Her daughter prescribed low dose
antibiotics to my new born for 2 month which destroyed my daughters
gastroenterologic system, when I went to see the mother Piga. She claim it

wise.
Fairfax hospital 的 pediatric department是这一带最好的了。主要问题是医院比较
老了。所以生了孩子不能guarantee给你单间。一般剖腹产可能可以guarantee给你单间
。如果顺产很可能不是单间。这个很烦人。
Fair Oaks hospital新很多。生孩子全部是单间。如果怀孕没什么特别complication的
，这个也很好。
题外话，如果小小孩要上ER,直奔fairfax hospital。他们有专门children's er
department。里面有专门的pediatrician值班。我儿子一岁多时发烧10天不退，一个礼
拜之内跑了三次ER（都是去的fair oaks),三次doctor office，都没结果。最后儿医跟
我说，直接去fairfax hospital children's er。当场收入院。第二天就退烧了。他们
