faculty来说可以算是很牛B了，但是对于老方这种senior的已经搞了一辈子的人来说，
就只能算so so。不要说是院士，离aps fellow的级别也还差了不少。引用率最高的一
篇文章还是95年到了arizona之后跟老外合作的，被引118次，这也是方唯一一篇被引用
上百次的文章。可见方励之89之前确实没有做出过什么重要的工作，他的名声和地位绝
对是靠政治得来的，当然其中部分的也是80年在中国搞科普所得，必须承认科普工作也是
有重要的社会意义的。
(BTW，有人说你这个搜索未必完整。不错，确实不能保证100％毫无遗漏。但是我

5年/7年/更久后, 你会是什么样的人？(placement of Chinese econ phd)
感谢以下学校的placement原始信息。
以后你想成为什么样的人？
现在还有机会思考或者yy。。
不过呢。。如果你想继续phd。。并且。。是在一些10～50之间的phd项目度过5年或者
更多。。那么以下也许是个不错的信息。。用来估计以后会是什么样的日子。。而不是
去畅想。
当然。。也许你想找个跳板继续申请phd。。于是luckily。。这个list里的学校基本属
于大多数跳板。。即使说某些号称极好的跳板。。最多能保证你的学校层次。。所以。
。对你来说。。也是个参考。。
永远不要想着自己是个例外。。只要搜一下这些人的背景你就会发现。。要有例外。。
他们中的大多数应该比你更容易遇到例外。。
这几个学校的placement都不是最全的。。应该还有一些没有被place的人。。但是几乎

曾经聊天，他问我知不知道radio peking.
我还真不知道
他说，他N年前经常收听radio peking的节目
有次听完后，意犹未尽，写了封热情洋溢的信给radio peking了
结果radio peking给他寄来了一本挂历，还一大堆共产主义的材料。
这件事聊完就忘了
今天早上上班
他很得意地和我说，有东西要show给我看
结果他把他那本挂历今天给带来了
保存完好，英文名字是radio peking
中文是中国国际广播电台
1982年的挂历
他把挂历带公司时，放在别人看不到的地方，告诉我说，不想让别人看到。 |

才报案，证据已经灭失”为由结案，但几乎每年都会被提起。最近因为复旦大学
投毒案，朱令案再次成为网上和媒体的焦点，公知们乘机要求重新调查该案、公
布卷宗，甚至有人在白宫网站上发起请愿要求美国政府把此案“嫌疑人”驱逐出
镜。
这个案件涉及三个主要人物，除了受害者朱令，还有其同寝室同学孙维，被
舆论视为本案“唯一嫌疑人”，传言因其家庭有权有势逃脱制裁，虽然更改姓名
移居美国，仍然逃脱不了被网民人肉、指名道姓咒骂的下场。还有一个是朱令的

要我说 Peking这种带有殖民色彩的英文拼写早就该改了，你看现在除了Peking U和
Peking Duck，还有没有啥地方外国媒体敢把北京写成Peking的（很多美国大学的网申
系统已经自己改成Beijing U了）？话说我记得初中时候看过尼克松写的1999不战而胜
，他七八十年代就已经提到Peking->Beijing是中国民族意识觉醒的标志 |
