今天汉城市市长李明博在汉城市政府举行记者招待会，宣布把汉城市的中文名称改为“首
尔”，呵呵，觉得这不是一件什么特别大的事情，别国提供一个自己城市的外语译名，在
外交史上也屡见不鲜，譬如中国规定"东北"的翻译不再作为 Manchuria; 翻译中国地名时
应使用汉语拼音, 把旧时习惯上的称呼Peking，Nanking改为Beijing，Nanjing等。以国
外为例，缅甸将原来的英译名Burma改为Myanmar，因为Myanmar更接近缅人的自称Myan
Mar的发音；柬埔寨把Cambodia改为Kampuchea等等。所以更改自己国名或是地名的翻译也
不是什么新鲜事情，影响到汉语翻译的以前也有，譬如“象牙海岸”把它的拉丁语翻译一
律改为Cote d'Ivoire，于是英文译名也从Ivory Coast改为了Cote d'Ivoire，汉语也跟
着从“象牙海岸”改为“科特迪瓦”。

以屁精沙文主义（peking chauvinism）为核心的北方野蛮主义对广东，台湾，香港，
新加坡，福
建等东南沿海比较发达地方，感到不安和妒忌
北方属于中共的老巢，虽然中共的领导、将领大部分是南方人
北方人基本很少混上去
但是当年为防北方几个野蛮民族，定都北方，另不少省份得益
自此藐视南方
事实上无论经济，政治，文化，技术，北方100年内都干不过南方
屁精沙文主义，看到别人先进的社会形态，感到非常的不安
一定要贬低，抑制，这其实是一种无能和没自信
香港无疑是一个先进的城市，无论在任何指标都是世界一等一的大都会
应该有与之相适应的政治制度
才能相互促进，令社会更向前一步

北京自建城以來經歷過了許多個朝代的變遷，自古以來北京話有過多少變化？如何變化
？從歷史上講，400多年前的明朝末年，從意大利來的傳教士利馬竇曾用羅馬拼音記錄
了大量的當時的北京話，這些記錄至今尚保存著。從利的記錄中可以明白無誤地看出：
當時的北京話是有大量入聲字並且沒有zh、ch、sh等翹舌音的語言。這說明了當時的北
京話不是現在的北京話，也不是現在的普通話，因為無論北京話還是普通話都不具備這
些特徵。同時也說明了北京話和普通話的歷史都超不過400年，400年前的北京話是明朝
的官話（考證為吳語）。

滿人入關進駐北京後，為了小區的安全等政治因素，滿人把紫禁城周圍10裏之內的漢人
全部趕走而專屬滿人居住，這個範圍稱為北京的內城，而10裏之外稱為外城。於是，北
京城出現了兩個社群：滿人社群和漢人社群，這是階級、語言和居住地域等都十分分明

中国外交部昨日表示，国际刑警组织(Interpol)已经发布了逮捕一名逃到美国的中国富
豪的“红色通报”。围绕金融行业腐败指控的一场政治角力逐渐公开化。
郭文贵曾是中国最知名的证券公司之一发生的管理层争斗中的一个关键人物。流亡已有

8日，全聚德、同仁堂等6家老字号征集的英文名字确定，其中，“全聚德”翻译成“Quanjude Peking Roast Duck-Since 1864”。
“迎奥运———传神诠释老字号”公益翻译活动自2007年8月初启动以来，收到了来自全球翻译志愿者提交的翻译作品共计25万余份。
首批诞生的6家老字号每家征集到的翻译作品均在3万份以上。此次诞生的老字号招牌翻译标准分别是“老字号企业名称拼音+产品特性+起始年代”；“老字号企业名称拼音+产品店铺+起始年代”；“老字号企业名称拼音+经营产品+起始年代”。老字号企业可根据自己企业的特性选择其一。同时用公元纪年的标志突出了老字号悠久的历史。
今年3月，首批6家老字号企业的招牌名称将统一制作成金字牌匾，并将举行隆重的老字号洋名揭牌仪式。
