Peter Chen to new style Dojo's Amy for penholders.
Amy used to play in BJ team, i just wonder if Peter could also
twiddle to attack, can he play as well as Amy?
I play in the same style as Amy but a lot more on smooth side,
she plays LP with 80%, whereas i play LP at most 15%, but i am
getting more confidence to use more LPs. I feel my smooth side
skills have reached almost my potential, but i have a lot to
learn how to use LPs like Amy |

Jike, also it is better to hide penholder until key moment, it
is easier for europeans to get used to Xu Xin than Jike.

反手加了这个正胶，这个胶不知道能不能直拍反拉一些不太转的球？

have no problem...but for shakehand, it is always harder to play
against 2 different rubber side players in our level, so i would
always suggest guys to try different rubbers in both sides. |

before, he could beat a lot of 2200 shakehands, yes, his style
is not that traditional, but his talent is so high, i never see
a penhold could loop that well on his backhand side, also he could
counterloop so well from far away off the table.
he is a very nice person too, he warmed me up all the time at USOpen
of 2004 at Chicago which was the tournament i broke 1900 at the very
first time.

good at all,
my 防守 has improved a lot due to the intensive training from tennis the
past 2 years.
i saw a lot of Chinese penholders playing in 1400-1600 level, just like my
style back
to 1996 when i started to play USATT tour: push a lot, fairly good serves
and attack,
not much looping, just push and hit.
i improved to 1700s by trying different rubbers/rackets, plus learned how to
loop, flip
and old skill consistency. Impr |

but control is very bad. When you try to return the ball short, it gives
high ball most of the times. Personally, I think the three blades should be
better than OC. |

could
play/move that fast.
Also, Vince Tai and myself watched Kim Taek Soo warmed his members up, Vince
was
saying how many ppl Kim Taek Soo could still beat...
He was one of my 2 favorite penholders. Ma Lin was the other, i only have
one favorite
shakehand which is Waldner. |

the group RR by beating WMTT 3:1, that handicap tour, i beat Mark Johnson 3:
0 semi-,
(from 0:0) and beat 2300 Amy 3:0 in final (starting from 5:0, she got like 4
,6,8 points:-)
WMTT beat that guy, how did u do that? he was classical 1000 level Chinese
penholder dude,
just served and attacked, i could not defend that over 50 percentage. |

loop, i would encourage you to try my style, it worked for some
ppl, actually it is easier for this style to maintain its level
than 2 wing looper, when u get older, it is harder to keep your
looping skills as well as your peak level. |

he was being coach by Zhao Yue, a great 2500 penholder wang-hao
style lady from Hua Dong Ligong.
i was lucky to beat him 3:0. |

using as a forehand rubber, SpinPips is good, Guoliang and
Longcan used to use them.
When Chen, Longcan used at SF bay area back to 07, i saw he used
SpinPips.
i saw a lot of pips penholders are using Fairstorm, which is
fastest short pips from butterfly. |

stategy ideas, eg Guoliang is a better coach than Linghui..
But it does mean you have a very good team spirit, u fight harder when
teammates are around. Hope your mixed double would keep unbeatable again,

发帖数: 5654 | 50 just chatted with Liu Song, he is from Guangxi, he played penholder
a little bit when he was very young, then his coach asked him to
change to shakehand, but he could not learn how to loop well for
his backhand, so he changed to LPs.
He told me you can play well for every type of rubbers, as long as
u work hard.
But 2 side smooth rubbers are easiest to improve.
I believe professional player world is more boring since there are
not much variations, but in our amateur world, it is more fun to
