要和我确定待遇问题。他们是要招一个6个月的contract,但很可能转成permanent，说
要依据表现来确定。但我喜欢permanent，否则我在加拿大的家就不知道要不要搬了。
虽然公司要不要我还不确定，现在非要我给个期望工资（是不是担心花钱给面试后我又
不去了？）我拗不过只好说“如果是permanent，我希望是多少多少“。结果他们说不
能start with permanent,但可以把contract延长到两年，而且在我要求的基础上再加$
25k。说希望这个能弥补这个差距。
他们已经说了公司给我医疗和牙医保险（加拿大公费医疗出国就没有了）。我不知道除
了退休基金和失业金，还有什么福利在美国是Contract job 没有的？ 为啥他们宁愿加
钱，延长到两年也不肯给个permanent job？ |

最近有人推荐Permanent Life Insurance(7702)这个产品给我们。
我们去年开始买了30年的term life insurance,当然term的话就意味着这个钱都扔进去
了，没有回报率，也不希望有回报（除非死亡）
Permanent Life Insurance跟Whole Life insurance稍有不同，但是我还是没看出本质
的不同。是不是好的投资方式呢？
大家有什么心得？关键我无法google到一个中性客观的评价，要么说特别特别好，都是
宣传性的，要么就是说多么 多么不好。我很想得到比较客观的评价。

求permanent residence，这个到底是不是要求绿卡或公民？后来看了一下citi double
cash，也要求permanent residence，freedom好像没有要求，据说信用卡公司是没法
查你的身份，他们有没有可能让你出示护照或绿卡之类的？大家有没有听说过因为没有
permanent residence而信用卡公司拒赔的？

than permanent positions but no benefits. Does anyone know how much higher
the temporary rate should be comparing with permanent one? 10%, 20%...? so I

Permanent is just an employment term, meaning it is not a temporary position
which has a specific term no matter what the funding sources are. Vast
majority of permanent positions can be eliminated due to economy downturn,
revenue drop or funding availability. So 这个职位是dependent on funding

B/A = 1，应该选A吧?

number。估计就是不想和我说话。通过另一个号码给paypal打电话，说没法remove

般家里另一方有正式工提供全家保险了，另一个人有可能愿意做合同工。
为什么公司不愿意给你正式工？没有head count呗。经理只有可以用的budget，that's
it.
要注意contract两年是说人家现在希望你做两年，可没有法律义务必须用你两年。随时
可以中止合同的
