I was gonna get one retired ragdoll but the owner suddenly changed her mind

来了。罗马人对努米底亚人还是很熟悉的。硬币头像做旁证也是没办法，实在是流传下
来的东西太少了。连硬币本身的信息，比如何时铸造，流通地区也都缺乏啊。
语言学方面，我不熟悉，向你老兄学习了。
另外，我查过了老Pliny的Natural History，里面对Numidia人也是语焉不详。我查到
Dictionary of Greek and Roman Geography里面提到，Numidia各部落的特征不尽相同
。有白人（whites)也有肤色较深的人（blacks but not negroes).这个好像有近代考
古支持，但原始文献没找到。
Sallust关于Numidia人来源的说法抄写如下。他的来源是译自Hiempsal II用布匿语写
的著作。而Hiempsal的来源恐怕就只能是口头传说了。

。在shelter里面的咪多数都有点落魄，灰头土脸的，即使是purebred persian，看着
也远没有这张照片上可爱。要看mm有没慧眼和爱心了，其实回家好好打理和调理一段时
间，shelter里面的落魄鬼也能成帅哥美女滴～
另外，persian打理起来会花点时间，每天擦眼和经常梳毛是必需的，要有心里准备：） |

发帖数: 117 | 30 家里一只exotic一只persian, 喝水好像没有太大问题. 有一个DrinkWell的fountain (
Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain 168oz)和一个方形的很深的破塑料盒子. 两个水碗
都经常用, 用fountain的时候也是喝碗里的不喝流下来的.
exotic喝水还挺干净, 最多就是下巴都湿透了, 一般会自己groom掉, 或者蹭到床上沙
发上之类的... persian毛太长, 有时候胸毛都湿了, 再进litter box... 全是沙子...
不过两只猫的毛都不会湿很长时间, persian毛干掉之后有时候会打结... 每天刷一遍

俺还是熟晚期罗马时代，所以还是以此为例。以前俺提到过的《教会史》的作者
Eusebius of Caesarea，还有一个技术含量更高的著作《编年志》（Chronicon），一
部分经过亚美尼亚文和拉丁文转译流传下来。 他的后人Saint Jerome整理续写成自己

1. 古代中国史家在时间驾驭上显然如楼主所说有好得多的传统。古典时期的希腊，罗
马典籍著名的经常根本不关心年代。而那些单纯的年代志，我们这样的读者一般难以接
触到或者也没有兴趣。

2011年11月号刊登韓德森（Scott J. Henderson）的文章说，美国和西方对中国的观察
，通常基于政府政策的演变、外交关系、实力重组等因素，但还有另一个有用的参照物
，那就是军队的外语培训。
早在1949年，中国人民解放军就在洛阳建立了外语学院，作为培养国防语言人才的摇篮
。现在洛阳“解放军外语大学”已经培养了5万多名毕业生，担负起军事翻译、军事外
交、国际反恐、联合国维和行动等各项工作。从该校的课程设置可知，这是一所培训(
能破解密碼的)多种语言人才的军事情报学府。
解放军外语大学出版自己的《外语杂志》。1978年至1987年，以英文、俄文、日文、韩

西方有一个断代，大概就是400年到1000年左右的时间。这期间，罗马帝国解体，基督
教势力愈发强大，围绕基督教产生了很多新的现代国家的雏形。
那罗马人哪里去了。罗马城破以后，西方就没有罗马了，但是罗马的人没有被种族清洗
，他们跟其他民族逐渐混血，经过多年，已经分不出过去意义上的种族，只有一个国家
的区分。没有人说西班牙是 西哥特人的西班牙，没有人说德国是alamanian,bavarian,
saxonian的德国。过去他们是不同族群，后来演变成了整体。只有地方语言继续保留旧
时特色。用文化圈和地理位置划分区域。单独的说某个日耳曼蛮族，确实没什么成就，
因为他们扎下跟以后就消失了。以后就没有了哥特人，法兰克人，只有中世纪的duchy
和kingdom，这些又变成了现在的国家。
那么罗马的文化呢？首先基督教时罗马后期的国教，现在依旧是最大影响力。拉丁文被
