opinion, that I ended up remembering most of the metabolic pathways and key

一下大部分文字是考前两月写下的自己的感悟，由于考前高压，可能会条理不清，词不
达意，见谅。
不变应万变
对于难题要做到镇静，想想我不会的题目，多数人也未必会，镇静，镇静！镇静下来之
后才能慢慢寻找解题思路，难题的难点在于，题目信息不熟悉，备选答案内容不熟悉，
不要慌，想一想，出题者的思路在哪里，用自己熟悉的知识点去解决不熟悉的信息，这
就是apply的过程，比如genetic的题目。以不变应万变。
对于不会的题目，不要粘题，没有思路，跳过去，回头再想。有时是瞬时block out一
叶障目，后头再看的时候会发现豁然开朗。不值得浪费太多时间在一道题目上面。
关于排除法的应用，首先排除自己熟悉的选项，再排除自己不熟悉的选项，如果自己熟
悉的选项不能排除，怎么能排除自己根本看不懂的选项。解决方案：如果最后自己熟悉
的选项不能排除，还是选择自己熟悉的选项。因为太超范围，太偏太远的东西考的可能
性毕竟比较小，较大点的可能是可能是自己熟悉的，但是自己没有做到很好的apply或

挥挥手，终于告别了step1，一路走来，着实不易！考完试后，心里平静得出奇，成绩
本身，似乎已被抛到脑后，或许是因为复习与做题，已经让自己麻木了。今天是发榜的
日子，却突然让自己经历了从渴望迫切，到心跳加速，再到如释重负的转变。至于分数
，250＋，虽然是意料之外，却也在情理之中。但这已经不重要了，重要的是，自己真

下这份考经，并不代表自己对成绩有多满意，或者对自己的复习有多自信。我只是想纪

一、 材料篇
这里点评一下我用过的学习材料。其实我看过的书不太多，其他还有一些我没看过的好

题库我做过2个UW,KAPLAN。kaplan有人说用来练速度，其实我觉得kaplan题干并不长，
或许比uw长点，但和真题还是不能比。真实考试之前time从来对我都不是一个issue。
真实考试长度超过我预计，虽然我还是能把mark题都看完，但是that's it,基本没能把
所有题从头到尾看完。我读书工作都常年读大量paper，肯定不是一个slow reader，所
以大家不要掉以轻心，作为英语second language的我们，尤其是听说ck题目更长，平
时都要多练习阅读速度。我觉得如果平时不是一个fast reader，单靠kaplan练速度，
是不够的。
uw是个好题库。我总共做过2遍。第一遍offline正确率50%以下。第二遍online正确率
75%。很多人把uw反复做做到90%以上，我觉得后面都是虚高，因为答案都背出来，即便
没有，或许也无法锻炼你对某个题目整套的思维过程了。我看amg论坛上，考前uw 2nd
pass做到80%考试都是240-250，而身边听到说uw做到90%的好多个，最后成绩也就是230

发帖数: 39 | 14 分数终于出来了。想以此献给和我一样还在战斗的考友们，特别是大龄宝妈（也包括还
必须工作的）们，希望有一点帮助。
一开始我没有考board 的想法，但毕竟有着临床毕业证书。看着自己的同学一个个的又
都回去做医生了。然后不免会动摇。觉得不考好像有点缺憾。一直是跃跃欲试，但总是
蜻蜓点水。在不坚定中这样一晃几年就过去了。所以目前落成大龄考生一枚。
对我来说，最困难的是要说服家里的另一半，能支持我做的决定。对大家也是同理。因
为除了家庭和工作，可能会错过很多业余休闲时间。时间都必须是挤出来的。要牺牲无
数个周末和晚上。这样另一半会觉得牺牲了生活品质。所以必须要让对方觉得自己很乐
意干这件事。让对方觉得你很享受学习的过程，同时说服对方长远的说对家庭也是有益
的。所以争取到另一半支持，才是真正的开始。
定下心来之后，就买本FA开始了，这样的准备过程很不经典，所以也想让不走典型路线
的同学做个参考。
书目篇：
先从基础科目来说，我是直接上FA的。因为一直从事相对基础的科研工作。美国phd,
我们当时的program 是一大型混合program. 记得上学第一年细胞生生物学，生化课都

一些网友跳出来羞辱讽刺。我无所谓。文章总有喜欢和不喜欢的。
Rodimus对该帖极为不满，说running版不欢迎这类文章,封了很难看。同时说置顶文章
有类似讨论了。
我发帖反驳，问他是不是私人俱乐部，不允许公开发帖，同时要他拿出白底黑字的版规
看我违反了哪一条。我说我读了置顶文章，要么是空连接，要么内容不相同。我反问他
看我的文章没有。
Rodimus 根本拿不出任何版规，还说我的文章他不屑一看，居然发帖说我是受虐狂。
我发帖反驳说他动不动冒充全版不欢迎新人，还无根据威胁封人，是虐待狂。
Rodimus恼羞成怒，把我的帖子和后面更贴的对话全删了。
闹了半天是个不看贴就摆架子，威胁人，骂人，删帖的版主。混mit这么多年，还真遇
到极品版主了。
我要问站务，一个版主管理版面是靠版规还是靠威胁恐吓？繁荣版面是靠搞一言堂还是

plant physiology/biochemistry with microbiology and animal physiology(?),
if memory serves me right. When we got in the 1981, plant physiology/
biochemistry along with Agronomy and Breeding(?) were in the department of

生，假冒MD---别给我说MD这里的意思是医生，英文中“医生”另有一个专用词
Physician。若自称Doctor xxx就是指有医学博士（MD）学位的医生，没有MD学位就只
能自称Physician。
这位SD Yan明显没有美国MD学位，虽然她自称received her M.D. from Fujian
Medical University in 1983，但我们都知道，1983年时中国福建医学院根本不能授医
学博士学位，她得到的只能是医学士（MB）学位。她若诚实，就应该跟饶毅一样，老老
实实自称MB。
可能她自己也知道她这个MD是faked，所以，在她现在的faculty个人网页上，她无法象
其他美国人一样列出获得M.D.学位的学校和年代，这一栏空白。但为了能够自称Dr.
Yan，她只好在下面的文字介绍中含糊自称received her M.D. from Fujian Medical
University in 1983。。。这就是中国假MD的悲哀。

跟这帮自称理科的文科生物wsn实在纠缠不清楚。给丫们上点洋大人自己的说法吧，而
且都是学术圈的，已有reference一堆，其中一份是著名的兰德公司的报告。
另外，美国和澳洲已立法限制使用脑波扫描仪，拿脑波扫描仪扫本国公民已是联邦法的
重罪。不过这个比较难的是你无法证实谁接收了你的脑信号。所以立了法跟没立一个样。
