初步计划是周五下午camping的人先去，然后周六picnic的人跟我们汇合，一起野餐，
游泳，扑克，飞盘，聊天，etc。 (大家能想到其他活动吗？)
我们目前男生居多（我们实验室男女比例9:1，请大家谅解。），所以萎缩的希望有mm
报名 ：） 但是任何人都welcome. 可以报名camping, picnic, or both。
住在downtown或者附近的人，我们可以提供ride。我们从naperville出发。
至于食物，目前想试试自带午餐，然后大家一起potluck，否则人多都让一个人准备太
累了。周围也应该有快餐店。反正出去主要也不是为吃。这样也省得花费时间分担食品
费用了。我可以给大家带soft drink和chips。

周二晚， 中国国家男子篮球队和达拉斯小牛队summer camp 篮球队在Dallas市SMU大学
有场比赛。在Austin的我和Picnic事先得知此消息后，一拍即合，驱车3个小时去观看
这场比赛。
比赛过程就不多说了。我是本着认识些新面孔的目的去看比赛的，特别是易建连，孙悦
这两位刚被NBA球队选上的球员。
中国队队员上场热身，身后的几个美国青年人就很惊诧问这些队员都多大呀。 看着白
光灯下球员的面孔，不得不说太tmd的年轻了，年轻的各个看起来都似under 20，当然
除了王治郅 - 看来在美国suffer过 |

发帖数: 3004 | 32 前不久胖皮同学发起了picnic的建议，偶曾长期被“禁锢”在实验室里，所以厨房功练
习的还成，picnic的经验很少。不过刚刚亲身参加了一个成功的例子。感觉胖皮同学的
建议很有建设性撒。
昨天傍晚我们系在county park搞了个picnic。地点在湖边的小山上，棚子看着不大，
中间几个大桌子摆食物，五十几人没完全坐满（不过不断有娃娃乱跑的）。Grill在棚外。
除了烧烤外，自带的东西有一些菜(美国菜我也叫不上名字），还有dessert（cake,
cheesecake), biscuit, chips之类的。drink，ice,杯盘由组织上提供。大家吃
的玩的都很开心。（偶带了4磅红烧鸡翅，全消灭掉了，偶也很开心撒。）
建议我们也举行一次~可以同时满足有家的和单身的，玩和吃都不耽误，经济实惠，小娃
娃们多参加点集体活动也有好处。那边风景也不错，可以在湖边走走，湖边有野鸭，还有
小船（自费项目）。

想请帅哥美女们推荐一下你们觉得公认比较好的最popular的picnic park
我们考虑以下几个因素
1. 可以供被邀请人免费停车
2. 有凉亭有roof可以遮阳
3. 可以让不是这个城市的resident reserve,当然最好不要多charge reservation fee
on non-residents
4. 价格适中别太高得离谱 (50-80刀左右一天)

我也匆匆的赶到了picnic地点 - Edgewater Park Lower Level ,一行人已经吃完第一
轮,坐在桌边在闲聊,偶赶到赶紧自己做了个汉堡先填了下肚子,然后ka ka ..照了些烂
照片,一是繁荣本版,二是夏天马上就要过去, 算是留个纪念.

In this August, CAST-SD and UCSD-CSSA will host a picnic for all Chinese
People in San Diego. The picnic time is 12pm on Aug. 30th and the location
is San Dieguito County Park (Area 2) in Del Mar area. BBQ, fruits and soft
drinks will be provided and we will organize some interesting outdoor
activities like basketball, volleyball, etc. There are also some children
playground and hiking trails for fun.

周二晚， 中国国家男子篮球队和达拉斯小牛队summer camp 篮球队在Dallas市SMU大学
有场比赛。在Austin的我和Picnic事先得知此消息后，一拍即合，驱车3个小时去观看
这场比赛。
比赛过程就不多说了。我是本着认识些新面孔的目的去看比赛的，特别是易建连，孙悦
这两位刚被NBA球队选上的球员。
中国队队员上场热身，身后的几个美国青年人就很惊诧问这些队员都多大呀。 看着白
光灯下球员的面孔，不得不说太tmd的年轻了，年轻的各个看起来都似under 20，当然
除了王治郅 - 看来在美国suffer过的就是显老，就如你和我。
看到了我熟悉的两位前队员，巩晓彬和李楠。巩晓彬是领队吧。
中国队的热身routine一如继往，和我当年读书时学到的一模一样。 自由投篮 -> 围着
