关于时间的问题就在这讨论吧。

比赛的format大致如此：
如果8-9人，就两轮单循环。如果10-12个，先是单循环，然后下午根据上午的排名再来个小循环（如前5-6名再来个循环，后5-6名再来个循环）。反正每人都打上个12-16场，人少，场地够大，保证每人都打过瘾到手脚抽筋为止。
比赛费用：
根据去年的经验，一共要花400出头（场地费，看门老大爷的tip，USATT sanction费，USATT rating费，中午的Pizza，每人都有一个Plaque）。8个人的话每人50左右，10个人就40左右。
其他建议：
外地carpool的ID们不妨可以考虑带上家眷，你比赛的时候，他们可以去Great Smoky Mountain玩，40多分钟的路。 |

发帖数: 2191 | 6 目前来看，9月6号或者13号（都是周6）对我自己的schedule以及场地比较合适。
俺的公司赞助coverUSATT sanction fee，rating fee，gym场地费、gym看门人的tip和
lunch pizza，所以报名费就每人20吧，意思一下，主要是希望能参赛的早点commit一
下啊，另外看看能否给每人都做个好点的plaque取代以前的好汉证书。需要坐飞机过来
或者开车单程大于350迈的外地ID先也要交个报名费，等比赛结束退（如果7天以内退赛
或者临时放俺们鸽子的就不退报名费了）。
比赛的format灵活，看人数定。主要是让大家打得尽兴。8人或不到就2轮单循环，可以
打12-14场；10人左右就一个大的单循环然后分前5名一组（天罡组）后5名一组（地煞
组），每组下午继续单循环，这样可以打13场左右。估计参赛的都是1600-2000左右的
，比赛肯定很激烈。

false positives是一方面，另一方面是该技术无法检测更为危险的soft plaque.
radiologist一般是不读片子的，这个活基本上是交给tech，radiologist瞄一眼
结果，签个字而已。两个不同的tech,给出的结果可能大不一样，按照快速挣钱
的工作流，仔细看结果的可能性不大，除非数据很离谱。
再说一下这个ranking.统计给出的ranking是相对于一个数据库的结果，老实说这
个数据库有多大的统计意义很不好说。因为最初的数据值是基于EBCT,后来普通CT
接着用同样的数据库，到现在也没有一个统一的标准。EBCT的特点就是快，但噪
声比普通CT厉害。另外，现在的算法有好几种，有人继续沿用以前的，有人从零
开始建库，这种事情靠谱不靠谱只有天知道了。
还要说一下，这种screening扫描一般用小的剂量辐射，但我知道有无良医生为了
提高图像质量把剂量加倍。所以我想一般没事还是不要去做了。

的职位。beacon hill的房子是1938-1941年住的。41年以后他搬到cambridge，住到去
世。39年他又接受哈佛的Ralph Waldo Emerson Fellow的两年的职位，大概不用教书。
43年接受new hampshire Dartmouth College的fellow职位，但觉得和amherst更有感情
，48年又去amherst做lecturer直到63年去世。不知道他在dartmouth和amherst是否需
要教书，从cambridge去amherst也要一两小时的路，去dartmouth更远。
plath在9 Willow Street住过一年半，你有空去看看有没有plaque，哈哈：
