说起世界上其它国家﹐我们第一个想到的可能是美国。美国梦﹑美国精神﹑美国价值观
﹑美国模式……是我们很多人熟悉的字眼。而美国对内自由民主﹑公正平等﹐对外穷兵
黩武﹑实行霸权﹔对中国今天巧言令色﹐声称“战略伙伴”﹐明天又挥舞拳头﹐大叫“
中国威胁”﹐又让我们看到它的多面性。是什么造就了今天的美国﹐一个“美丽的”帝
国主义国家﹖我以为﹐认识美国﹐首先要了解美国的独特性（the uniqueness of the

美国人的基本价值观
