drive axle换过一些，Honda的有没有换过我也记不清了，但是我知道不同的车型有时
候差异非常的大，大到甚至A车无法借鉴B车，所以我就把05的odyssey touring换
driveshaft的manual贴上来给大家做个参考：

Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the
proper locations.
Remove the wheel nuts and front wheels.

putty kn
ife，一把pry bar，一块木板。Base molding上沿跟墙接缝的地方可能用caulk封住了
，用p
utty knife划开接缝并把前端伸进base molding和墙之间，稍微扳出一个大点的缝，然
后把
pry bar前端伸进缝里，往外撬，把molding撬出来。为了防止破坏墙，pry bar在墙上
的支
点处要垫块木板。
一般木地板是3/4寸厚，地面比原来的地毯高，装base molding回去的时候也根据新的
地面高度而升高。 |

between the back of the outer pad and the caliper and pry slowly. Make sure
that you open the brake fluid cap under the hood to let the brake fuild flow
before you pry.
If in the rare case that you 搞不定, you can always put the old pads and the
wheel backso you can drive the car. |

I have a very good floor jack and a so-so jack stand. I spent more than 10
minutes trying to pry the axle out of the transmission. There was a small
metal clip on the axle that I could not see. I had to turn it and pry it
many times to get it out.
The whole thing took my a little over an hour. This was the first time I

考下。
这个对新手来说不是一个太容易的project。前面有人说过了，取决于你有没有工具，
有没有认真的研究网上的DIY视频和write-up，取决于你有没有备用的车（这个很关键
，因为第一次做很容易缺东西），有没有朋友指导，取决于你的车况（老车的螺丝经常
锈死）。
有条件的搞一个floor jack。2 ton就好。一定要有jack stand。你得把车升起来让车
轮离地（废话！）。
如果没有朋友借工具的话，最好买一个工具套装，或者研究下brake的螺丝是什么尺寸
，买对应的wrench。强烈推荐买一套工具。你永远不知道你缺什么工具。
卸轮胎的话，有些锈死的wheel nuts你要用breaker bar才容易松开。我就用了车上自
带的工具。
caliper的螺丝如果没有锈死的话比较好卸，要用对的工具，wrench不要用open-end的
那头。因为工作空间小，不好用力。用box-end能用上力。注意不要把nuts的头拧圆了
。买一个橡皮锤子，如果力矩不够大，你可以锤子敲wrench的柄。... 阅读全帖 |

husband and my father. took us about 8 hours total.
you need box cutter to cut carpet into smaller pieces, ropes to tie carpet
together, a plier to take out the staples, and a pry-bar and a hammer to pry
the tack boards. do wear gloves when you do this.
we didn't remove all tack boards since we plan on putting new carpet in some
areas. |

。最后，固定玻璃的木框反倒先裂开了。
