发帖数: 3283 | 1 这个确实是个问题。id其实并不是那么热心做游戏（这公司到现在也没几个人，能外包
的活全部外包），特别是carmack在doom3之后基本上就是在放羊的状态，一心造火箭开
发手机游戏。恰好这个阶段是从pc游戏到主机的过渡时期，id只是重新复刻了几个老游
戏，完全错过了一段黄金时期。
id的老引擎卖得挺好，搞出了half life等一堆好东西，而且carmack会在新游戏发布后
准时将老引擎开源，因此社区也会开发一些id引擎得游戏。当年Unreal和Quake 2的竞
争还是蛮激烈的，后来id宣布Quake 3将成为第一个基于多人游戏的FPS，结果却被UT赶
在前面一周发布了，id郁闷不已；几个月后出了Q3TA，但反响很一般。UT后来乘胜追击
，连续出了2003，2004，3。
再往后的故事就比较恶心了。2004年id做了doom3，还有2011年的rage，除此之外所有
游戏都是第三方开发；Epic再出了unreal 2和ut3之后，一心一意卖起了引擎，仿佛
Unreal这个游戏从来都没有出现过。。。。 |

struck southwestern Mexico near the resort city of Acapulco on Monday,
according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
