我是坚决反对breed的行为的。
其实绝大多数的宠物兔子都是kc了的，防止over population。也对兔兔的健康有利。

其实，另外一个防止over population，防止更多的可爱兔兔因为shelter没有地方而安
乐死的办法，就是不从pet store买兔子（这样只会鼓励更多breeder生更多小兔子，好
多小兔子都会死掉了或者被抛弃在野外饿死或者在公路上死去，就算被shelter救助了
也会因为兔满为患不知道会不会被安乐死），而是尽量从humane society或者rabbit
rescue group领养兔子，这样你就给了一只被救助的兔子永远的家，而且也为防止over
population贡献一点点力量。所以一定要kc兔兔。而且要让更多的朋友知道兔子是很
可爱很能互动的宠物。要让兔子得到猫和狗一样的地位，大家都要做responsible pet
owner，而且尽量让更多的朋友了解有关兔子的知识。

另外local的一些humane society有时候也有兔子，可以去petfinder.com上搜搜
我家小七是刚领养的，fee是80，我觉得有点小贵但是可以承受。我家嘟嘟是从外面救
来的，嘿嘿，结果自己kc花了300多！所以还是adopt好啊。
我家嘟嘟原来是在客厅散养的，在客厅随便跑；后来她突然对啃沙发感兴趣了我就把她
晚上睡觉时圈在一个大playpen里。现在有了小七，我看嘟嘟似乎不干坏事了，所以开
始又散养，但是还要看他们的表现，如果一起干坏事，就白天散养，晚上圈在pen里。
包电线的那个东东似乎有厚的，如果电线包的很厚下不了嘴他们就不啃了吧。
另外takki可以找找有没有新鲜没农药的apple branch，兔子非常喜欢啃，可能有很多
可以啃的东西，就对电线失去兴趣了。 |

3年里，他们给我带来了无尽的欢乐。希望送到 rabbit rescue以后，他们能很快得找
到新家，继续快乐的生活下去。
发个帖子，纪念一下这3年的生活，也征集祝福，祝他们永远快乐，有人疼爱，快快找
到新家。
其实我发这片帖子，是想和大家共享一下这两只可爱的兄弟的照片。不过，被很多人批评说不该放弃它们。
其实，人和宠物会有很多分别，各种各样，不是每一个分别都是以宠物的寿终正寝结束的。这对兄弟在我家3年，没有生过病，一直健健康康，从草料到零食到玩具一样不缺。他们带给我欢乐的同时，我也尽心尽力的给他们最好的生活。
现在我没有办法再继续饲养他们了，决定要送走，心里也很难受。如果进来看这片帖子的朋友们，不能理解我现在的心情，也希望能不要批判了。看看这些照片就好了。
我想，将来肯领养他们的人，一定也是爱兔子的人，会给他们更好的生活。我只是一个穷学生，没有大house，也没有后院供他们玩耍。我看过了rabbit rescue的环境，也看到了那里的兔子们，都被照顾得很好，都有漂亮的照片在网上，等待新的主人。

我现在很怀疑他之前吃的干粮-nature's variety instinct rabbit的那种，他就是从
换了这个猫粮没多久开始第一次犯病的，我现在被元宝爹埋怨，说我不该给他吃这个干
粮的。。。
治疗结束处方粮减少之后，他非要继续吃这个rabbit口味的，我就又每天给他一点，这
两天给的多点，结果今天就又不好了。。。
打算狠心把这个干粮给他断了，他现在干粮只吃这一种，罐头他只吃wellness小袋装的
那种。vet让我买Purina的处方罐头，成分是
Meat by-products, liver, chicken, water sufficient for processing, poultry
by-products, brewers rice, calcium gluconate, oat fiber, guar gum, sodium

small pieces before giving to ur rabbits.otherwise, the rabbits might chock
themselves. -_-||
parsely is also a good vegetable to feed. |

"好猫粮"前面有帖专门讨论过了吧。我提及的"Go! Natural"的grain free猫粮的
成分组成看起来很不错，不过我还没给我家猫买过。
如果一定要"鸭肉猫粮"，可以考虑Fromm的（Fromm Four-Star Nutritionals Duck
La Veg Dry Cat Food），Petfooddirect.com上可以看到。肉成分就是Duck, Duck
Meal，并且它们是猫粮成分列表里最前面两项。这个猫粮不是grain free的（有
White Rice等），但应也算还不错的（鸭肉）猫粮吧。
Grain Free的猫粮里，你也许可以试试Nature's Variety Instinct Grain Free
Rabbit Meal Dry Cat Food。肉类成分第一是兔肉（Rabbit Meal）。我家几只猫
很爱吃这个猫粮。需要注意的是它也包含一定的鱼类成分，不知道你家猫会不会

is at higher risk of developing a reproductive cancer than a spayed doe.
However, a doe that is bred on a regular basis, or schedule, has a lower
chance of developing a reproductive cancer. About the same as the spayed
rabbit, actually.

mammary or ovarian cancer during their lives. Unofficial statistics indicate
that between 50% to 80% of all unspayed females will be affected by cancer,
by age 5. The incidence of testicular cancer in unneutered males is much
lower, but does occur. By contrast, spay and neuter surgeries, IF performed
by a rabbit savvy veterinarian, carry very little risk (success rates are
close to 100%).

nature's logic rabbit 肉糜，不喜欢
instinct rabbit formula 肉糜 不喜欢
felindae:大罐，肉糜，很不喜欢
fromm chicken, duck & salmon 还行，偶尔一吃还行，每天吃绝对不行
总之爱吃肉块的
其实干粮，任何口味都喜欢，但是给她戒了，不然她只等干粮，不吃罐头了。吃过皇家
（太油），california，wellness core（太小，不会吃），orijen，EVO等
另外爱吃猪肉，偷吃的肉种类不限，甚至包括白油肠。

非常非常爱，经常自己偷吃 |

Google map "feed store near " should show up.
Call them and ask for rabbit pallet in 50 lbs.
My Timothy pellet is actually for horses. Only $11.5 50 lbs.
My LD call the place and said "we want some bulk timothy pellet".
It turn out their unit is 1 ton, 40x 50lbs in one package!
We get a good laugh over our request for "bulk package".

要求比较高，那联系breeder吧，别去宠物店买。
一个月花十几二十块，主要是干草钱和litter钱。如果有大车能找到草场买大捆的草就
便宜些。
兔子可以litter train, 在固定地点上厕所。便便是干的，没什么味道，但是尿有味道
，虽然比猫尿味道小很多，但是厕所还得每天铲。
兔子不需要打预防针。
能不能和猫共处不好说，得看个自性格。一般还是建议没人看着的时候要把猫和兔子分
开。

我也觉得那个humane society很不负责任，问他们关于养兔子的细节他们都不知道的。
我去Pet Smart买兔粮，结果奇怪的是卖兔粮的人也说只吃兔粮就行，不需要喂草，我
买的那个兔粮的direction上也写着不需要喂草，奇怪。我买的那个兔粮名字是Small
World Rabbit.我看这个网站有类似的：

上面的direction也写得是Hay and other forages can be fed, but are not
required. 不知怎么回事？

情况看这个连接，某个兔子spay后，和你家咪宝症状一样。

死了，要么小猫很快就开始好转了。可是咪宝从瘸到今天，10天了，没有好转，而且烧
也没退。所以他基本认定，只有feline leukemia会这样持续着，不见好
bone marrow，那个准确率高。
只有feline leukemia了，也就是，必死无疑，但是可能是几天，几周，也可能是几个
月，最后猫会很痛苦。
在发烧的），持续十天后腿痛（今天发现了是后腿连着后脚个那个关节最痛），有可能
是可以治好的virus吗？难道真的只有feline leukemia这条死路了吗？
果是做bone marrow检查，准确率多高？要是查bone marrow会不会非常痛苦？我知道要
麻醉，咪宝现在承受的了吗？ |

叫做橘色。然后一查才发现，哦，原来是标准的红色，呵呵

skin, hair, who knows what nutrients are in those by-products. people add
supplement but nobody knows the exact recipe. like eating vitamine C is not
the same as eating an orange.
i heard wellness, for example, have a high fat contents, because fat is
cheaper than protein and since they all want to advertise "grain free" AND
make a profit. Some brand that has the "meal" might have more protein than
fat.

发帖数: 793 | 43 给你发个我家的setup 供参考，基本上一间屋子就归这俩兔子了。地上绿色的毯子是
IKEA买的，棉质，能扔洗衣机里洗，但不太容易烘干，并且我也不太敢使劲烘，怕缩得
太厉害，一般得晾个半天一天的才能干。
我家俩strictly indoor, 我在家的时候屋里地毯上随便跑，不在家的时候呆在围栏里
。如果打算让兔子全家跑，一定要全家做好rabbit proof，不想让兔子啃的东西决不能
让兔子碰到。另外兔子有可能会啃/刨地毯，或者啃家具。如果新房子怕搞坏东西心疼
的话，还是慎重考虑，养点鱼啥的算了。
