发帖数: 382 | 4 本次旅行最后阶段风格摇身一变，从游山逛水变成静心观鸟。其实这也是无奈，原计
划的Lake Tahoe预告有雪，只好顺原路返回。为使路上不过于枯燥，就沿途安排了两次
观鸟。
第一站是Fresno附近的Millerton Lake。相传这里冬季经常有美国国鸟白头鹰(Bald
Eagle)出没，我们就过去碰碰运气。到了湖边，发现万里无云的天空看不到一丝飞鸟的
痕迹。苦等白天，总算看到有雄鹰在天上盘旋，激动地举起相机，透过取景窗才发现原
来是秃鹫，只好扫兴离去。一路上警惕地打量着天上的每一个飞物，希望能碰见白头鹰
，结果是一无所获。
接下来去Los Banos附近的Merced National Wildlife Refuge，观看重点是Sandhill
Crane。这里离家不到两个小时，算是湾区后院。在Refuge入口处的厕所边，又见天上
有只鹰一路飞来。我条件反射地举起相机一阵扫射，从取景窗中看去这位倒确实是白头
，越看越象白头鹰，回来后检查照片才发现确实就是白头鹰。人生的第一只Bald Eagle
，就这么不经意间遇上了。
这只白头鹰让我对Merced Refuge好感大增，后来又专程去 |

冰雪覆盖面积不小。我们两口子算不上真正的登山爱好者。一般也就在风和日丽的天气
里走一天。唯一一次在雪上行走的经历是在tuckerman ravine滑野雪，不过连crampons
都没用上。有朋友想在夏天爬Mont Blanc请我们一起去。说是3天训练2天跟向导登顶。
LD欣然同意跟着去凑热闹，我觉得3天训练太耽误功夫也不想辛苦自己，在雪线下溜达
看风景好了。我还查了他们的登山路线，准备跟他们在雪线下走一段。
到了发现所谓3天训练其实只有第一天是教基础知识和技术，继绳子，穿crampon,用冰
斧之类。其余4天1个向导带2人差不多想去哪去哪。登顶要看天气，4天时间机会多些。
有不少人已经不是第一次来了，为了登顶。课程星期一开始，当时的天气预报是从星期
3开始可能有雷雨。朋友高山反应比较厉害，又被第2天要用冰斧攀爬的陡坡吓了一下，
基本放弃了登顶的想法。周3给自己放了一天假。向导带着LD一人先坐缆车到Aigulle

六点半下楼吃早饭，发现外面的天还不错。不仅没有下雨，云层也不算太厚。Kev的书
上说今天应该是全程风景最好的一天，if weather is fine。美国三人组没挡住诱惑，
决定和我们一起翻垭口。七点二十从Cabane出发，路是修在乱石间的，不难走，
不到半个小时就到了今天的第一个垭口。尽管垭口这一侧干涸、贫瘠如沙漠，对面谷底
却有一个很大的湖，被群山包围着；离我们最远的那一端后面，就是昨天最后看到的那
片低海拔冰川，此时的云线还不算太低，才将将盖住那片山顶。
之后的路就是从垭口另一侧下到湖边，在循沿湖岸的trail一直走到那片冰川下。
这一带的山没有昨天的陡，山坡上长满了草，还有野花的点缀，路也是踩实了的土路，
很好走。
两侧的一些黑色砂石山的山顶上、挂着昨夜未化尽的残雪，像是在黑纸上泼了白墨的写
意山水。

发帖数: 130 | 30 本月初，我去了趟佛罗里达。6月的佛州，雨季已经开始，蚊虫也多了起来，不算个游
玩的好时节，不过我玩得倒是很尽兴。我既去了一些耳熟能详热门的景点（Miami, Key
west, Everglades），也去了不少冷门景点，特别是玩了几个National Wildlife
Refuge（国家自然保护区），见到了相当多种类的动物。热门的景点就不说了，分享一
些冷门的景点/活动，抛砖引玉。
由于是夏天，天热，我便起早贪黑，把主要活动安排在早上10点以前；下午5点以后。
这两个时段也是动物觅食的时间，看到的机会更大。可惜的是，我的望远镜（20刀买的
）太次，近处的看着还行，远一些的动物就只能看见个轮廓了。
1.在开往Key west 的路上，有两处可以停留。
A. 77.5mile处，有一个小码头，码头边的水里，有很多长度超过一米的大海鲢（
tarpon）出没。可以花钱买点小鱼，喂大海鲢。在YouTube上，有不少大海鲢从水里跃

据说，巴利文经典中，是找不到”佛教“这样的字眼的。佛教作为organized religion
可能根本不是佛陀的本意。《新约》里，基督说话很感人。让人崇拜可能也不是
基督自己的意思。老师在《开示》中也讲过，基督受折磨而死。可是他对给人用刑的人，
没有半分怨言。反而祈祷上帝，原谅他们。真正“信”基督，就学做他那样的人。
我自己的确念过归依三宝的句子。原文这样说

Blind Activist Escapes House Arrest in China
