whether I should change shake-hand or not. I told him that it would take him
1-2 years to catch up, and I told myself that I would not change since 1-2
years were too long for me.
Ten years later (last year), when I looked back, I was surprised that 10
years passed just like that, and my skill was still the same as 10 years ago

陀螺倒是现实，不倒是梦，是影片中cobb对他的女学徒直接说的。
看见孩子的脸是回到现实，是以我强大的分析能力，半秒钟分析出来的。
cobb有一个guilt，就是植入idea给他老婆。原先这个陀螺totem是cobb老婆的。他老婆
太喜欢，并迷失在他们创造的梦世界了，于是不愿意也不相信用陀螺验证自己是否在梦
里，把它锁在了内心深处。而cobb终于不能再忍受在梦里一生，想回到现实，于是千辛
万苦找到了老婆锁的地方，把它转了起来，这就意味着这个陀螺会永远转，也就是在老
婆内心深处告诉他老婆，她是在梦里，自杀可以回到现实。这个idea植入太深，甚至回
到现实，他老婆还是认为是在梦里，最后自杀了。这个guilt, 通过最后回到深层的梦
，与老婆对话，终于释然了。
cobb还有一个regret，就是逃跑离开时，没能看到孩子们的脸，于是在梦里从来看不到
孩子们的脸。这个regret只有再见到孩子才能够消除，否则永远梦里都是孩子们的背影
。最后终于看到了，也就不是梦了啊。圆满！

除了 “a few” 跟 “too few to” 的矛盾之外，隐藏在字里行间还有
“But then again” 跟 “too few to mention”。“But then again”
意思是说过 “too few to mention” 很多次了（隐含的意义也就是已经
mention 过 regret 过很多次了），后面却又还说 “too few to mention”。
俺个人觉得这个句子有那么一点 “却道天凉好个秋” 意思，但是态度很不一样。
这个句子比 “却道天凉好个秋” 要积极很多。
个人看法，俺理解的不一定对。 |

1) if someone really likes you he should just commit to you without any

I have seen something similar to your case in one of my friend. When he
was choosing his postdoc position, he insisted to get into a new lab despite
