了很多offer。然后他们给candidate的option是要不陪sign-on bonus，要不推迟6个月
上班。即便是这样，很多学校的career services还是把它们都办了，后边几年career
fair都不让他们来。明白诚信的意思了吧

background checks. They will get such information both from HR of your
current company and from asking you for paycheck stubs. Rescinding the offer
is a real possibility. It certainly has happened. The best remedy is to
contact the hiring manager before they find out themselves. That's 100 times
better than let them find out. They may just let it go if they like you.

首先，offer letter是四月初发的，很正规的written form,但是当时HR没有提及任何
关于export license的细节。接收offer之后一直跟公司有联系，background check也
没有说有问题，上周supervisor和同事还发信在帮我找房子。完全没有悲剧的征兆...
结果昨天下午５点多接到HR来信说要withdraw,整个人shock到了.....所以以我的亲身
经历提醒版上各位：拿到offer的时候一定要问清楚，并且做好两手准备，直到真正on
board为止。。。居安思危啊....

材料太困难就没管它了
现在还是initial review
今天跟公司hr打电话，他说那只能等了，我问他会不会影响employment,他说不会的，
我赶紧发信去学校了，负责人出差了下周一才回来。

letter是不够的，必须indicate offer will be rescinded after a specific date,
要求2天内给材料。
我在网上查了下，很多人给了offer letter就可以，但是我这个case明确说了必须
offer letter说offer 可能会cancel等等（反正就是说的严重点）。请问这种情况应该
怎么处理呢？我要不要给公司的HR说一下，请他们开一封信说明，希望我按时入职等等

个月payment不多，但是也是笔不小开支。另外搬家已经订好了什么的。过去没有收入
很麻烦。

for any reason, but the fact she doesn't like you may be good enough to
rescind the offer. Not every company will spend 2 rounds on non-technical
interview for culture fit, they do.
I don't think you have room for negotiation in this case. You can talk to
your hiring manager and say you'll accept the offer, and maybe HR will let
it go. Otherwise, just go for Uber. |
