发帖数: 87 | 3 今天参加了个半天的retreat，主要是sitting, walking, eating meditation, body
scan，yoga 和loving kindless。4小时时间过得很快，我前晚上没睡好，sitting 和
body scan的时候注意到困意十足，头像罩了个罩子，眼睛发涩，把注意力集中在人中
或者身体上困意很快就变得更强烈，刚开始还能观察困意，后来就只能勉强撑着不睡着
。 walking还好，thoughts来了又去，把意识轻轻地放回到此刻的脚步动作上偶尔就能
感觉到一阵微微的舒适的电流流进心里，walking时时间过得很快。 eating
meditation的时候由于很饿，感觉到自己的不耐烦，想快快吃东西，却得控制着慢慢感
受每一口的味道。整个retreat之后，感觉比retreat之前放松了很多，刚去的时候很
stress out, 烦恼自己的论文，未来的工作，retreat之后所有都变得轻松了很多，我
也再次感觉到一点点无常的好处，同样一件事，这一刻看来很重很重，下一刻也许就能
显得轻松一些。 |

And the endodontist said there might be risks and he would back up (what

以前从来没长时间meditate过，所以都不敢参加3天以上的retreat，特地挑了个短的。
2天。中间大量的时间zazen（这个难道就是中文的坐禅？）虽然我腿也会麻也会有时打
瞌睡，但是还好没有象我之前担心的那样会被driven crazy :-p
我也说不出究竟学了啥，不过觉得是很好的经历，以后有机会愿意再尝试。 |

Monastery, in an avocado orchard surrounded by the mountains and chaparral
of northern San Diego County. Metta Forest Monastery is a meditation
monastery in the lineage of the Thai Forest Tradition.

一般的刑事民事法律在美国是州法，所以不同州的具体标准不同。使用枪械自卫在不同
州大致遵循三种不同的原则：1，Duty to Retreat; 2,Castle Doctrine; 3, Stand
Your Ground.
解释一下这三种原则：
1.Duty to Retreat。 面对侵害，首先要后退回避，屋子外的可以退到屋子里，屋子里
的可以退到屋子外，只有在确实没有安全退路的情况下才可以使用枪械自卫。应用这种
原则的地方，开枪自卫者需要举证说明自己开枪前已经退却了，如果可以回避侵害没有
做而直接开枪自卫，则会被视作攻击行为。
2.Castle Doctrine。城堡法是目前应用最广泛的自卫原则，已经有31个州通过了这类
法案，大同小异。城堡法有以下几个要素：
只能在城堡范围内使用枪械（一般指住房，少数会扩展到院子，独立车库，自用车，乃
至合法使用的工作场所，暂住场所等）。入侵者上门看见你掏枪，扭头跑出去了，这时
