好是用水做负重，下山的时候倒掉。给你个大致的我们的bench mark: 4 miles, 3300
ft, 2小时及格，1:30优秀。不是说你体能达不到就一定不能登，但是你如果能及格就
会有一定的saftey margin。登山不是跑road race，you can't go all out. when
things happen, rescue might not be immediately available, 即使是Rainier，
rescue也经常是days away
技术上，我们一般都很general的教alpine rock & glacier。我们用的教材是freedom
of the hills 8th edition。书的权威性我不做评价，大家见仁见智。我读过的书也不
少。craig connnally的the mountaineering handbook和cosley & houston的alpine

后半部分就总结出诀窍避免前面的困难。顺利多了。
感觉和老莫的差距大大减少了。
心得体会。
用铲子，如果铲子有奇怪的弯曲的话，肯定是有道理的，
仔细琢磨如何利用这个。简单的说就是杠杆原理。
还有一个重要体会就是，要多用脚的力量而不是用手。
手力能省就省，这个和攀岩是一个道理。真正的技巧
在于如何摆脚位，而不是展示手臂的力量有多强大。
阿汤哥在 Mission Impossible 里面爬那个悬崖的爬
法是完全不必要的。纯粹 BSO 用的。
坑要挖大一点铲子可以完全伸进去要比小坑容易多了。
可以利用杠杆原理。
还有，批量处理。一次挖完全部坑，准备好全部喷头。
这样减少工具换手的次数和需要洗手的次数。走位也少。
就是优化嘛，我们硅工最擅长了。
有很多东西是不可逆的，想好量好如何一次到位。

如果肥撒多了的话，会烧死草的。如果是这种情况多给水。
还有其他可能是降温了很多草开始黄了。还有疾病等等。
要搞清楚是什么原因才好对症下药。
我个人不是很喜欢 Weed & Feed.
你撒过 weed & feed 近期不能撒草籽发芽的。看你撒的
weed & feed 印在袋子上的说明要等多长时间才能种新草。

上一次失手了，老鼠把外面的诱饵吃了但是没有进去。
目前比分是 15:4，一共失手四次。得手 15 次，那个捕鼠器
已经物有所值了。
这次在捕鼠器里面放了两个过渡性的诱饵，每个金属板一个。
老鼠又上当了。haha.
我把捕鼠器放在老鼠经过的地方，老鼠特别聪明，
都挑很难抓的地方走。在围栏上可以随时逃到邻居那里。
然后我就用金素丝搞了个架子挂上去。
我从来不用手碰捕鼠器，包括换电池都是戴橡胶手套的。
据说老鼠很警惕有人的气味的东西。
刚放上去的时候给诱饵但是不要接电。老鼠是集体活动的。
看到前面老鼠进去吃，后面的老鼠也容易跟进去。这样可以
让老鼠熟悉一下捕鼠器，知道这里有好吃的。如果老鼠用 yelp
的话，那里肯定是个四星以上的饭店。在外面多放点很小的
花生酱，给点好处但是又吃不饱。
然后就开始把白店开成黑店了。这就是我的黑店，看到老鼠
尾巴了没有？

上几个星期偷了一次，效果还不错。
今天又看到了，准备再去偷点。
没有人抓我，那是因为我偷的是金灿灿的枯树叶，人家扫好了
一大堆在街边，像个小金字塔。秋天是攒这种枯叶的最好时机了。
我现在重新做我的 compost. 用兔子 BB, carefresh paper bedding,
割下来的草，架上枯叶。今天量了一下，已经有 110F 了，距离
135F 还有一点差距，革命尚未成功，仍需继续努力。我发现这
个枯叶实在是好，特别纯，而且防止一大堆板结到一起。有一定的
空气空间。那个碎草和 paper bedding 都喜欢粘在一起。
为什么人家的 compost 随随便便就上 150F 呢，妒忌啊。
我要把所有的枯叶都搜刮回来。至少要撑到明年夏天。
