朋友开车手刹没有松开,可能是磨损刹车造成的;

2 1/2 tsp yeast
350ml water
500g unbleached flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
200g pitted prunes, roughly chopped
200g bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped
2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 egg, beaten

Business this year nailed down a private equity job in the northeast with a
total compensation package north of half a million dollars.
This year’s highest paid Stanford MBA, who had a business undergraduate
degree and three to five years of work experience before getting a graduate
degree, reported receiving a guaranteed annual bonus of $337,500–a sum that

Square Inc. has raised $150 million from a foreign investor as the mobile-
payment startup seeks to fend off growing threats from Apple Inc., Amazon.
com Inc. and eBay Inc.’s PayPal division.
The investment arm of the government of Singapore led the new round of
funding, which valued Square at $6 billion, according to a person familiar
with the deal. Previous investors Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Rizvi

I am not sure whether my analysis below is correct:
We have 2^42 messages. Each message has a unique ID, which is a 8B interger.
Assume each message has 8 words on average, and there are 2^14 unique words.
So each word appears in roughly 2^42 * 8 / 2^14 = 2^31 messages.
So in the index table, each word has roughly 2^31 corresponding records and
each record is a message ID (8B size). So the size of the index of each word
is 2^34B = 4GB.
Since there are 2^14 unique words, the total size of the ind...

let s make an attemp to quantify.
1. go to a start up, 5 year horizon. roughly say you have 90% prob to make
only the salary (say 100k) then loose your job and this could happen anytime
during that 5 years, so add another 10% discount to that. maybe 9% prob to
make 1M, 0.9% prob to make 10M, 0.1% prob to make 100M. but those high
payouts are likely to be in restricted company shares so I d put a 10%
discount on them.
so we have 0.9*100k*0.9*5+0.09*1000k*0.9+0.009*10000k*0.9+0.001*100000k*0.9

Facebook, Apple, And Microsoft Are Ganging Up On Google
Back in the old days, the big bad company in tech that all the other
companies teamed-up against was Microsoft.
Microsoft was the evil empire.
So, Apple and Google worked together to squash Microsoft.
Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs used to mentor Google cofounders Larry Page and
Sergey Brin. Google CEO Eric Schmidt used to sit on the Apple board.
This is no longer the case.
These days, the common enemy is Google.
In recent years, there have be...

A generalized solution:
Suppose you have a master node (or are able to use a consensus protocol to
elect a master from among your servers). The master first queries the
servers for the size of their sets of data, call this n, so that it knows to
look for the k = n/2 largest element.
The master then selects a random server and queries it for a random element
from the elements on that server. The master broadcasts this element to
each server, and each server partitions its elements into those la...

If you do not want to do the actual calculation, just think that the total
financial burden for owning the house is roughly the monthly payment to the
bank.
Because at the current loan rate, what you save from tax deduction ~30% * (
interest+real estate tax) will roughly be the same as what you need to pay
the real estate tax.

I just started thinking to buy furniture for my house, and did some research
. I came across this great site www.myfurnitureforum.com with a lot of
information and knowledge in the furniture industry.
Here is an article on leather furniture, I think it's great.
A primer in selecting leather
It just occurred to me I may not have ever made a post about some leather
tips you need to know when you buy leather. Here's a few, and they apply to
every maker for the most part:
