Maria的老家而去。瑞士不愧是旅游度假的胜地，一路上景色非常秀美。我们的行程中
，有一段路车子是沿着一条狭长湖边行走。蓝天白云，青山碧水，林阴葱葱，各色各样
的花儿鸟儿，水面上的鸭子等都和谐的融在同一个画面里，我想如果有仙境的话，这儿
应该就是。
差不多四十分钟后，我们来到了边境。我们的车随着车流慢慢的向前移动。意大利那边
有边境管理人员对入境的车和人作例行的检查。不多久就有一位工作人员来到我们的车
前。Maria递上了她的通行证件和我的护照。检查人员瞄了一眼Maria的证件随手还回，

France has no way of tracking whether you really went to France or not under
the following situation: your stay in France is the longest but first port
of entry is Barcelona, because there's no passport control when you travel
within the schengen zone. Even if you applied for a French schengen visa and
never went to France, they wouldn't know that you didn't, so there would be
no such thing as "getting in trouble" next time when you apply for a French

本人现在在US(F1), 我几个月前联系了一个瑞士公司实习，经过了漫长的等待，终于那
边公司给我发了两个确认表格，一个是Office of Economy of Labor， 一个是移民局
， 还说 your Visa is ready to be picked up了。

但是有一个疑问，去年的时候我同学在英国转机，回美国的时候中国边检不让上飞机，
原因就只是因为她没有英国护照。我担心回我美国的时候中国边检会不会还是不放行。

打听一番，好像只要us visa stamp可以包括开会之旅，哪怕少于三个月也可以拿

目前身份是H1B，也是在美国境内F1转的H1B。
问了一圈，包括学校的OIS, HR以及一个移民律师
可以肯定的是，必须要出去签US 的VISA
然后律师建议是可以尝试先去加拿大签美国VISA,再去办法国VISA
由于俺的专业名字比较敏感 （pharmacology & toxicology），包括律师以及OIS 的人
都说check可能性比较大，（虽然他们都说加拿大check的概率小于国内的，所有人都不
建议去墨西哥签证，说墨西哥很容易被check，而且TJ 这个地方太可怕，呵呵）
我最後决定的是先去法国，在回国签
去法国领馆schengen签证的时候要求提供机票预订的证明，证明开会完了回中国得到这
个消息后，当天定了机票，fax了itenary。 其他的东西，凡是网页要求准备的都要求
看了一遍 （包括工资单阿，存款帐户阿，法国的旅馆阿，会议邀请函阿什么的，最后
要我补飞机预约的证明)，凡是没提要看的，一个也没要看。第二个工作日就让俺去取
签证了
估计楼主的签证类型也是schengen C,祝好运 |

道，原来没有回美国的签证，可能连去欧洲的SCHENGEN VISA 都拿不到。
现在我只能自己琢磨自己去加拿大跑一趟，签个回美签证先，希望还赶得及。。。
我有几个问题如下：
1） 在注册预约在加拿大美国签证的网站上，要先填个人信息，有个问题是 “
canadian /present in Canada" 还是 ”present in United States".我现在在美国，
但是签证的时候人肯定在加拿大，我应该选哪个？
2） 在加拿大见面试官的时候，如果签证官问我为什么要在那里签证 （因为好像在加
拿大不呆满30天根本不需要签证回美国的），我应该怎么回答？ 我可不可以直接说因
为我要去欧洲出差，必须拿到回美签证才能申请Schengen visa? 一般这样的情况签过
的概率是怎么样？我是H-1B visa。
3) 如果告诉签证官实话，我是否需要准备那些去欧洲出差的材料（分部邀请信
等等）给签证官看？请问谁手里有这样的材料清单吗？我好催HR帮我办。

冒着生命危险和被check的risk跑去传说中的蒂华纳续签原因是因为我要去欧洲做交换
生，但是大概从2013年开始Schengen visa要求US visa must be valid at least 90
days beyond to your intended departure date of Schengen territory. 当我被意
大利大使馆拒绝接受材料之后像热锅上的蚂蚁一般在大使馆门口一个又一个电话和意大
利学校求助他们也表示爱莫能助时， 在我后面的一位要签工作签的大哥默默的等了我
四十分钟后挂了电话告诉我我可以去第三国续签，这个也许是唯一我能做的，因为我这
边又要上课又有各种事情脱不开身，时间又非常紧迫不可能等2weeks的递签，所以回国
续签是不可能了。
于是乎我哭着开回家开始预约midterm之后的一周的墨西哥面签。哪个大哥告诉我

Exemptions are given to US, CA, AU, NZ visa and Schengen
Residence permit holders. However even if you have Schengen tourist visa,
you cannot transit in UK without a visa.

因为3月份去了一次法国,给了一个什么Schengen visa一年有效. 然后发现德国,法国比

现在网上说，（英文原文在后面）法国领馆不允许email或者网上打出来的hotel
reservation confirmations, 而是要饭店fax给申请人，然后带去。这个实际操作上也
这么严格吗？你也是交饭店fax的材料吗？谢谢！
