最近正在申请一个我们一个society的associate member，还不是full member。
Associate member根据society的bylaw，一年只有15个名额，今年开始改成了25个。必
须是独立PI，必须有NIH R01。给你7年时间过渡，然后或者申请到full member，或者
自动phase out。根据今年的统计,新批准加入的full member竟然H index达到31！平均
年龄46岁！（前年的新加入full member的平均年龄是51岁！NND）
参加他们的年会，必须是member或者被一个member邀请。一个member每年只有一个邀请
的名额。感觉像secular的教会组织似的，不过会议水平确实高。 |

都很可爱，165cm, big boobs, nice feature, sweet, easy to talk with.
我有意往家庭背景话题聊， 她们居然把她们家族史，七姑八大姨各种事都和我说了。
也再三表示她们是secular jews, not orthodox jews, not interested in dating
only within jewish community.

有点细节还是不太清楚。
据说， 犹太人是以妈妈来划分的， 假设， 我和犹太女人结婚生子，我的后代就一定

and Mac part.
I do think Chinese stock and real estate market will crash in not far
future, just like other Asian countries did in 1997, only with a much
bigger impact to the rest of the world, which might eventually bring
THE bottom to the secular bear market. And only then we'll have a
sustainable bull market in China runs for maybe 20 years.
But that only justifies that China is the thermometer of speculative
money.

有！甚至她的孩子现在长大了，也替她后悔，觉得她不应该待家里。觉得是“时代的悲
剧”，那个时代很多女性接受了高等教育，但是社会风气和自己的心理还没有跟上。。。
这个妈妈的三个孩子，两个都是GIFTED（上了特殊班），基因摆在那里。但是她太多地
把自己的事业心寄托在孩子身上，结果导致了两个天才子女压力过大，反而学业曲折。
（前面有位姐妹也提到自己妈妈当年放弃了读研的机会，就在女儿身上寄托了很多。）
两人不认识，她们彼此怎么比？这当然是我自己的观察和体会。
至少见面时候，她没有后悔自己的选择，看来很开心。孩子和她也很亲。我绝对赞成孩
子小的时候多陪伴孩子，但是这不应该成为牺牲自己的理由。而且，说句心里话，其实
一个人长大后如何，大部分都天生的，我们父母能给孩子提供的，一是一个安全、温暖
、健康的大环境就够了，二是自己以身做则，把自己的生活事业搞好。其余的，就让孩
子“听天由命”吧。至于专门为了孩子不工作，甚至“牺牲”，绝大多数情况下，根本
没必要。
在美国留家里带孩子的多，很重要的原因就是人力太贵。同样的人，回国社会经济地位

做方向，有人说，一定要在左边，在涨的时候你盈利的可能性大，你亏钱只有一种可能，那就是刚刚买在了顶点。
这样的说法很有道理，但不一定赚钱。
为什么呢？理由非常简单。股市是赌场，以前参与的人少，每天的交易量比起现在来很小很小。年景好的时候啊，401K账户刚刚开始成长。换句话说，老鼠会刚刚成立不久，还有得玩呢。
现在的情况就不同了，401K账户已经有了不少的成长，这个成长多数来自户主的投入，有多少是来自市场收益不得而知。但是有一点是明显的，现在的老鼠会，活动有些年头了。401K基金里面的钱，多少人都望着口水直咽呢。
所以做方向其实也不容易，现在是什么方向？在左边还是右边？
我们现在在什么位子？很可能在一个secular bear market megatrend的下降通道里面。任何反弹很有可能又是一个cyclical bull market。
如果这样的定位是合理的，我们就应该知道了如何做方向。
但是如果这样的定位错了呢？无妨。为什么无妨？道理很简单，方向有三种，上，下，横。方向判断的准确与否，对开局的影响是有的，如果方向判断准确，开局有利，下面就好做。如果方向判断错了呢？
