流体要以某个角速度旋转，那么只要摩擦系数够高，摩擦力够大，内外环壁面附近的流
体就能保证足够的线速度维持你所给你的角速度。但是远离避免，夹在内外环中间的那
些流体，他们的线速度完全来自于shear，如果粘度不够大，产生不了足够大的shear，
那这些流体就无法维持足够大的线速度来满足你指定的角速度，这能解释为什么你要给
一个足够大的粘性才能有合理的解。

进出curb的速度不会太快，所以动力就可以很大，一般的curb方向的倾斜应该也还好。

USE. 所以BOOTS 都洗了洗干透了上了BOOT TREATMENT. 把鞋子整理一遍, 发现 1/3 的
鞋是BOOTS. 冏的是有几双买了好几年没动过TAG 还在.
奔. 除了灰的那个是FISHING BOOTS 不防水还有漏水的MESH,其他都是各种TEX, GORE
TEX, HYDRO TEX, CHIPA-TEX... 还有双JUSTIN 的WORK BOOTS 不属SPORTS 就不SHOW 了
顺便说说WALMART 卖的$60 - $100 的防水靴. HERMAN 的SURVIVOR 系列做工防水都还
不错, 不过比起好牌子, FIT 好象总有问题, SIZE/WIDTH 明明都对, 穿上去总是没有
那种人靴一体的感觉. 要求不高也可以.

以前有过B707（可能有误）fuselage的shear failure例子，飞机倒是降落了，
不过成了敞篷飞机，吹走了几个乘客，呵呵。Diameter大的fuselage应该
更容易buckling(with identical shell thickness),所以需要增强,这又导致
重量的大幅增加，所以可能会导致结构的重新设计，难度也因此而增高。
其实doubledeck的设计是很聪明的，因为增加的deck的重量可以另一方面增强fuselage
的刚性，一石二鸟啊。。。 |

shearing会把dna切得太小，会miss掉很多东西，他认为这个方法只适合chromatin

的用truseq kit建rna seq库，一般是没有必要size selection的，镁离子化学断裂非
常的好。chipseq ip的大小一般会比input大一点，如果是sonication shear的不好的
话，ip下来的片段就可能会大很多，但是mnase digestion好的话的基本pattern不会变
，也就是如果超声shear的好的话确实不需要选择，因为大片段本来就不多。测序时到
flow cell 上cluster的时候也就都丢了，无所谓。

Typically, cost wise, 2 DS = 1 CU.
So you think 10 CU will be less reliable than 20 DS?
BTW: It does not make sense to compare DS with CU, because DS is hard to
control drainage and shear area. At least, I don't trust shear strength
results from DS for clay.

The rotation is proportional to the moment and depends on the stiffnes of
that section. Normally without the displacement between shear tab and beam
web, the rotation is very tiny. When the moment is larger than the capacity
of that pin connection, the bolts or the shear tabs or the beam web might
fail. And it is a little complicated and depends on the beam section.

Your feeling is almost right in the shear-wall building and most other type
of buildings. However, in the moment-resisting frame building (steel or
concrete) without shear walls, the columns also provide the lateral
resistance and may be controlled by that.

The lateral load resisting system is concrete shear wall. If follow my
supervisor's direction, I am concerned that the some columns/beams might
collapse in an earthquake even though the whole building will not collapse (
since the shear wall is strong enough.)

stiffness. Typically your concrete shear walls will have relatively much
higher stiffness then other beams/columns. Therefore, concrete shear walls
will take 100% lateral loads for design purpose.
