otherwise quiet session for stocks ahead of Friday's employment report.
The benchmark index lost 0.4% and the Nasdaq gave up 0.1%. NYSE volume fell
8% from Wednesday. Nasdaq volume eased 1%.
Breadth was poor on the New York Stock Exchange as decliners beat advancers
2-to-1. It was better on the Nasdaq as losers only had a slight edge over
winners.

ending at fresh 12-year lows, as Merck's $41 billion purchase of Schering-
Plough failed to distract investors from worries about the economy.
The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) lost 80 points, or 1.2%, to end at 6
,547.05, its lowest point since April 15, 1997.
The S&P 500 (SPX) index lost nearly 7 points or 1%, to end at 676.53, its

Silver: Like I said two weeks ago, silver is not as bearish as gold
COT-setup-wisely. You can see on the commercial short BollingerBand
chart it's getting closer to the lower band. Bank & Prod group net
short position is even lower than that of the 2008 low. HFund group
is close to net short.
Such setup in a metal friendly environment would be very bullish but

5000多点第一下很快下来，认识到尖顶的可能开始看熊的，觉得下面就是应该做个4000
多点的右肩了，估计这个过程怎么也得几个星期吧。结果根本没两天，花的一下第2个
暴跌进入3800点。所有人疑惑。
古板那段时间基本全是抄底a股的帖子。除了口水贴，10个里面8个是抄底a股的。
然后大概也没有多少天，花的一下a股奔溃到3300点，所有人开始恐慌。
举上面的例子是要说，熊市的第一下，给彻底定调的奔溃法，相当的快，狠。美股大盘
目前就算继续跌，大部分看熊的认为也是个双底，然后反弹。包括了你想要108抄底苹
果。这跟前几个月 “认识到尖顶的可能开始看熊的，觉得下面就是应该做个4000多点
的右肩了，估计这个过程怎么也得几个星期吧。”可能是一样的事情。
技术上讲，当下美股大盘的图形如果开跌，一般不会双底，会有个很快的更低的底，有
很多这样的例子。

另外，美帝冲出来说，要拍卖原油储备，就是嫌自己油太多了。

鬼知道呀。 但是，不会加大储备看起来是可能性很大的。
普京在叙利亚也打上，但是，原油还是没上涨太多。
我觉得这次，美国人真是要下狠手了。
从美伊核谈判让步，放出伊朗的石油产能，到美帝银行继续支持页岩油气产业，
到拍卖自己的原油储备，感觉美帝这一把赌注一定下的很大。

Struggling Morgan Stanley (MS) slashed 1,200 jobs around the world in recent
days, a person familiar with the matter told CNNMoney.
The cuts were broad-based and eliminated 25% of the positions within the
fixed income and commodities businesses, the person said. Those divisions
are grappling with tumbling trading revenue and shrinking fees.
Morgan Stanley also eliminated about 730 back-office jobs like human-
