connection with an August shooting at his Tabor City home. Soles, D-Columbus
, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

这个案子疑点很多，Thomas Kyle Blackburn被打中的时候是在Soles的house外面，腿
中枪。North Carolina不是castle law的state，如果不是对方已经进入house对自己有
直接的生命威胁是不可以随便开枪自卫的。Blackburn是Soles的legal client，而且
Soles的property外面有个大门他不开的话别人也进不来。枪击案前一个月Soles还用辣

业论文里，所以我们一般都是毕业之后把论文再整理发出来。
答辩之后老板主动跟我说，“你的论文可以你自己sole author，也可以我们一起发，
当然后者的话我会花更多的精力帮你改；你选择哪种我都没关系”。他说他当着
committee的面说我的毕业论文是“one of the most independent”的，从头到尾都是
我自己弄的，所以觉得我可以当sole author。
我老板一直是很nice的人，这几年对我也很好，我毕业找到faculty的工作他也很开心
。之前投一个会议就说考虑到我fall开始自己当faculty就让我sole author了。另一方
面，他虽然已功成名就，但是对能发表论文也不是完全不care的。
现在我有点选择两难了：
一方面，自己当sole author对新AP是挺tempting的，况且东西确实是我自己做的，因
为选题的时候选了个老板不太熟悉但是我自己很感兴趣的；
另一方面，感觉有老板的加盟会把文章写得更好，发更好的期刊，而且老板也会比较开

在网上看了貌似LLC liabilities方面更好，但Sole propriership貌似更方便简单。
资金部分来源于朋友父母，盈利后肯定要还，貌似LLC进出账比Sole proprietorships
更麻烦？
另外，是不是只有sole proprietorships类型的公司结构可以把所有个人开销算作公司
开销？公司=个人，个人=公司？

目前在康州，读了州里相关的网页。
1. sole proprietorship用本人的ssn和姓名（dba）是不是就不用和联邦税务局注册了
，只是报税的时候用schedule c就可以了？
2.有康州的网友么？如果同样用自己的ssn和姓名，是不是也不用在州税务局注册？
3. 州里网页上讲，要有 Obtain appropriate trade or occupational license
；Obtain worker's compensation insurance - required even if not hiring
employees for a general partnership。就自己一个人在网上帮人制定旅游计划啥的
，还要这些东西么？

（照我非权威人士的想法：如果房子是你公司名下，应该可以。但你是 sole
proprietorship 的公司，所有你的个人财产就是公司财产，所以好像应该可以。。。

收入里一起报税。
LLC要biz acct是为了把LLC的资产和个人资产分开，sole proprietary
这么做好像没什么意义。实在想这么做也可以去申请个EIN，拿它来开

发帖数: 21 | 44 H1B身份，去年以个人名义注册了一个LLC，当时是SOLE PROPRIETARY。今年报税时CPA
说要做SCHEDULE C，也就是说要把PROFIT LOSS算到个人税表上，这样的话就留下了申
请绿卡的隐患。请问大家现在可不可以去有关方面请求把这个LLC ELECT为C-CORP（假
设找到朋友，给点股份，让其挂名做CEO）,然后以此名义报税。这样，不分红，也就不
对个人税表造成影响。
无论如何，今年报LLC的税迟了，现正在想办法。不知道以上是否可行，是否尚可以把
LLC ELECT成C-CORP来报2010的税。
