qmc is the undisbuted traveling/skiing/shopping/managing/partying pro.
Snowbird, Alta(no snowborading), Solitude are highly recommended and they
should all be on the superpass, including also Brighton. All are within
30min drving from SLC. |

on your level, Brighton is more family place. Alta(no boarders), Snowbird,
Solitude are all close and good for intermediate to advanced.
Park City area including Park City, The Canyons, and Dear Valley are for
high rollers, generally with less snow and more expensive than the four
Wasatch Front resorts mentioned.
qmc or other skied Utah before can tell you how to buy SuperPass. You can
also find discounts at Costco and |

I heard that The Deervalley doesn't allow riders.
I'm just a beginner, green and blue only.
How's the Brighton? The Canyons? The Solitude? Park City Mountain Resort?
I heard the Snowbird is good but has mostly black diamonds.
I'll be staying in the Hilton in downtown so would like to drive no more
than 1 hour each way.
P.S. Where else can I get discounted day passes? Hilton frontdesk has |

- Brighton is cheaper and good for beginers and intermediate levels.
Solitude is a little better for higher levels.
- Costco has Canyons and Snowbird tickets at $98/2days. You may also buy
discount tix at any ski rental shops.
- Park City and The Canyons do not get as much snow as the others but if you
are a high roller or later like to rubbing shoulders with celebs when
Sundance Movie Fest is coming, go ahead.
All these resorts are within 1hr driving |

为啥还有那种Monday syndrome呢？
坐在电脑前发呆，脑子里都是powder, powder
四天滑了四个雪场的powder，借用巧妹乡邻嫂一样地唠叨“太爽了”，呵呵
虽然有两次落入大平川的厚powder娱乐了大家一番，对powder没意见
这四天powder排名：
1. 1／24 solitude
utah号称今年雪比较差，坐在lift上跟人聊，很多人都说我们来对了时间，
the powder has been crappy。但是我们带来了一场巨大的storm。
且有些雪道在storm当天 1/23 avalanche control没开，所以我们1/24号
几乎滑的是最fresh的干粉，棉花一样，面粉一样，巨大的powder堆。
立刻就high了。 utah人总喜欢说，the greatest powder on earth.
我想，只有在这种时候去感受，才能真正体会这句话的含义吧。
当然了，今天也娱乐了大家一次，哈哈，已经冲出了树林，
在一片平川冲，很high，一下摔倒，就是齐胸的雪。一点都不夸张。

Also, SLC did not allow them to touch any of the four Wasatch Front resorts:
Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude. As you know so well (haha...) they
are the drinking water resources for SLC.
All snow events were held far out of town to Park City and Ogden resorts.
