poly-propylene glycol: OH-(CH(CH3)CH2-O)n-H
very simple polymers, but can't find their solubility in water. any one
happens
to know this??
Just want to compare them, have an idea about how the methy group can change
the solubility.

I just synthesized a block copolymer: one segment is soluble in hexane, the
other segment is soluble in methanol. The block copolymer is soluble in

很多， 要不为什么在癌症的发病率里面， 美国排在前面的是肠癌。
fiber分两种， soluable fiber， 和insoluble fiber， soluble fiber， 前者帮助
排便和constipation， 后者主要是提供血糖缓冲， 降低胆固醇， insoluble主要是在
粗粮里面多， 有些比较硬和脆的蔬菜里面也有。 而soluble在蔬菜和水果里面都有。
所以combine soluble和insoluble的种类才是王道。 当然这都建立在个人tolerance上
面， 要是你吃了粗粮， 天天胀气， 肚子难受， 那就多吃些蔬菜水果了。 |

你这个蛋白问题挺大的，本来性质就不是特别稳定，不容易在溶液中单分散
由于你用了gst，所以使其溶解性能增加了
你的gst beads实际上是agarose尾巴上接14C左右的碳链
然后再锚定谷胱甘肽
你的蛋白如果疏水区外露的化，很容易就跟这些碳链骨架的beads搅合在一起了
所以你的gst能带着就尽量带着吧
不过gst是一个dimer，如果你的蛋白活性对聚集状态没有什么要求的化，就用这个好了
如果有要求可以换个mbp啥的
如果纯化出来除了做做pull down等等还有其他要求，比如mg啥的
最好还是做些mutant,truncation也行，fusion protein, 也行，把hydrophobic
residue
一路突变过去找个不影响活性又能增进其稳定性的亦可以
BTW:你这个蛋白我怀疑已经是soluble aggregate了，最好还是先不去除tag，把蛋白稍
微纯化一下，用gel filtration或是光散射看一下
soluble aggregate对你没啥太大意义了，就算测出来点活性。以后成文，你要在文章

is short enough, so I can get water soluble surfactants.

200-260,
the block copolymers are not soluble in water.
when I use DMSO (a good solvent for PVA), the block copolymers are dissolved.

ur molecule need to be lipophilic in order to pass the cell membrane(lipid
bilayer), if it is hydrophilic, then u need active transport. but as what u
said, too lipophilic will decrease solubility and cause PK, protein binding
, etc. problems. it is a balance. in some cases i saw solubility gave in
to potency, then people will try to make salt, or prodrugs to get around the
solubility problem |
