1. Temple 的赤字不只是这个22M 的奖学金, 总共赤字达到175M
2. 这个校长坚持要举债超过130M在校区里建一个football stadium。但是传统里
Temple University 一直是在使用 Philadelphia Eagle 的体育场，一是因为并不远，
学生们可以直接坐地铁过去，二是Eagle 的体育场有足够大的停车场以及各种附属设施
，以及便利的高速入口. 而且州政府最近已经给了几千万的钱给Eagle，条件就是让
Temple University继续使用那个场地。如果Temple 再建立一个体育场，那么州政府的
钱就打水飘了。最重要的就是Temple University位于城市内部而且不邻近任何高速公
路的出口。如果在校内建立一个football stadium，那么引来的交通将成为一个恶梦。
事实上这个校长决定要修这个体育场之后一直就受到各种抗议和反对。今年三月份
board 开会的时候，一大堆当地的居民以及学校的学生更是堵在门口抗议这个修建体育

这篇文章说二氧化硅的致癌性。我认为是粉尘工业的从业者吸入大量二氧化硅粉末才有
比较大的危害。如果是通过消化道，二氧化硅，其实就是砂子，是没有致癌性的。而且
这篇文章的实验设计，把二氧化硅注射入大鼠的胸膜和腹膜，和通过消化道接触二氧化
硅也没有可比性。类似的，味精的致癌性是不是也很有问题？几千倍于正常用量有害，
能说明多少问题呢？
简明的说，我认为二氧化硅粉末和水充分混合后食道接触没有致病性，不会被吸收，简
单排出。 |

每年的这个季节，俄勒岗总是春意未到冬寒仍在，不断的阴雨不免使人平添几许抑郁。今
年尤甚，3月中旬竟然还下了两场雪。和LD商量后，决定去亚利桑那采采和暖的阳光。
选择此地的主要原因是，美国棒球大联盟队伍的热身赛（Preseason Game），也叫做春
训（spring training)，正在东部的佛罗里达和西部的亚利桑那进行着。我们自然就近

定。只是我觉得你这个黄灯转弯的理由有点牵强，一般人说黄灯都是说来不及刹车过直
线，但是你转弯似乎就不应该了，不知道法官会怎么判。
你是从哪边的stadium转northwestern?如果是加油站那边右转说不定还有戏，但是如果
是从armstrong那边右转估计就悬了，那边我记得好像是no turn on red. |

发帖数: 4509 | 43 来LA这么多年了居然一直没发现城市中心有这么个好地方。这个公园就在 Dodger
Stadium 边上，开车非常容易到达。在山下有大片维护得很好的绿茵，很象 Griffith
Park。山顶上还有个设施齐全的小公园，有野餐区和儿童游乐区，长着很多棕榈树。山
顶的视野很开阔，正面近距离俯视 Dodger Stadium 和 downtown 的楼群，往远处延伸
的就是 LA basin，能见度好的话也许能看见海岸线。这里也是看日落、月升和城市灯
火的绝佳之地。
今天正好是满月，而且整个天空明净透彻，只在很低的月亮附近有一抹被镶了亮边的云
彩，有点童话的味道。而且随着月亮的升高，那片云的形状逐渐变化，从扁长形到碟形
、尖嘴形，同时慢慢缩小，最后竟然完全消失了。。。

1. 花40块停在stadium里面，但进出会不会很麻烦？特别还有花车游行。而且花车游行
的时候，会不会把去stadium的路都封闭了？
2. 叫uber过去，同样的进出问题，特别是散场的时候。提前15分钟出来叫uber可行吗？
3. 把车停在附近的停车场，然后坐shuttle去。问题是我看停车场从20到60收费不一。
停任何的停车场是不是都可以坐shuttle，走到shuttle站交钱买票就行？大家有推荐的
停车场吗？是不是需要提前预定？比赛当天需要提前多久到停车场？ |

我们下午和I-Center还有DPS的人商谈了一下活动的形式和地点，汇报如下：
校方同意集会的形式，但是地点有限，因为Arena周围都是车道和停车场，因为不能影
响交
通，所以只能在Arena和Stadium背后的两个小块空地以及两块空地之间的E.Stadium的
路边
弄。不过就算是这点地方，估计也够聚集几百上千人了，agostic和DPS说的是大概500-
1000人左右。就算超过了千人，我们可以站到旁边的草地上去。虽然校方并不鼓励我们
站到Arena的草地，不过语气还是很flexible的。
至于我们原先想要的从Central Campus Walk到Arena来，校方认为这个算是parade了，
因为有些道路是学校的，有些道路是Ann Arbor城市的，如果parade就比较麻烦，要向
市政方面申请，而且审批时间比较长，我们可能这次弄不了了。
